Following the assassination of Mawlana Adil Khan, president of Jamia Farooqia Karachi, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid of Zahedan Iran, sent a message of condolence over his martyrdom and called the attack cowardly.
The Iranian Sunnis leader said in his message: “I was informed that Dr. Mohammad Adil Khan, son of Shaikh Saleemullah Khan and president of Jamia Farooqia Karachi was assassinated and martyred by some miscreant and sinister people. This cowardly attack that was planned by the enemies is strongly condemned”.
President of Darululoom Zahedan continued: “I hope that the Pakistani authorities will take serious measures to protect the lives of their valuable scholars and will not let the hidden hands of enemies to sabotage security of their country more.”
At the end of the statement, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid stated: “I ask Allah Almighty to raise the ranks of Shaikh Mohammad Adil Khan and bestow his family the best reward and patience”.
“I offer my condolences to the family and fans of the late and to all Muslims”, he added.
