Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid described the concept of justice in Islam and urged that there was a close relationship between “unity” and “security” with the implementation of justice in his Friday speech of Dec. 20, 2019.

He said that the governments were the first addressees of the Holy Qur’an.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said: “Allah hates cruelty and injustice more than blasphemy and Kufr. Injustice is a threat to each government and state.”

“Rulers should treat all masses equally without differences between Muslims and non-Muslims; Christians, Jews, Zoroastrians and even those who do not believe in God. All of them should be treated equally according to their human rights”, the Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan urged.

He said that judiciary has a big responsibility in implementation of justice; judges should try and judge fairly, regardless to ethnic or religious interests and biases.

“It is impossible to bring security and unity without implementation of justice; unity and security will be established and maintained if the views, thoughts and actions are fair and just”, president of Darululoom Zahedan said.

Islam emphasizes on justice in beliefs, deeds and actions
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid went on to explain the concept of justice in detail and said that the purpose of dispatching prophets and divine books was to bring justice.

“As much as Allah hates injustice and cruelty, He is satisfied and He likes justice. As human beings, Allah wants us to act fairly and avoid cruelty and injustice,” Iranian Sunnis’ outstanding leader said.

He continued that some suppose that the cruelty and injustice mean to violate only other’s rights, but it has a broader concept as the Holy Qur’an says.

While describing the concept of justice in Islam, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said that the best concept of justice is the right belief in Allah; it means to worship only one God and avoid associating others with Him in worship or attributes. It is the best concept of justice in belief; as worshiping various Gods is a great injustice to Allah.

A Muslim should be fair in deeds and actions
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid emphasized the importance of justice in deeds and actions, saying: “As Muslims we should be fair and just in our deeds and actions; showing laziness in fulfilling Allah’s commands is a big injustice.”

He further said that respecting other’s rights is another important example of justice.

“If we fail to respect due rights of parents, spouses, relatives, and neighbors, then we have committed injustice”, he said.

The president of Darululoom Zahedan defended women’s rights and said: “Today many women complain that their rights have been being violated.”
Sunnis Friday Imam in Zahedan said that husbands should be fair and patient with their wives.

He said that the Holy prophet peace be upon him says: “the best of you is the one who is best to his wife and I am the best of you to my wives”.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid called on the audience to have a good behavior with their children and family members.

“Love your family members, sit with them and laugh with them to get reward from Allah”, he added more.

Imam of the grand Makki masque concluded his speech by saying: “Committing sin is a big injustice to the real Lord that has a dangerous consequence for individuals and societies. Sin causes corruption in societies.”
