The Iranian prominent social leader of the Sunni community counted “justice” and “equity” the most important factors behind strengthening fraternity and unity. He called the officials to avoid discrimination.

The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported his speech of 27th April, 2018. He said: “Implementation of justice and equity are among the most important factors of strengthening unity and fraternity. There should not be any discrimination among Iranian ethnic and religious communities. All Iranians, regardless to their sect, religion and race belong to this country.”

“I adjure the higher officials and leaders of the Islamic Republic by God to not put any discrimination among the Iranian nation. They should behave them equally,” Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan underlined.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid addressed the officials and said: “As unity is the strategy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, there is the need of equal view on the whole nation practically. The capable forces of all ethnic and religious communities should be engaged and employed indiscriminately.”

He pointed out to the importance of peace and its relation with peace, saying: “Unity is must for ensuring security and peace. If there is any difference and scuffle, security will be destabilized and all belligerent communities will feel they are insecure.”

National & provincial authorities should not forget their promises
President of the biggest non-state Islamic learning center of Iran reminded the officials their promises during election campaign and said: “The biggest majority in Sistan-Balochistan belongs to Baloch people who constitute up to 75% of the population and Sistanis constitute the second majority in the province. I adjure the provincial authorities by God to not discriminate between Shias and Sunnis, Baloch and non-Baloch people.”

“The authorities should pay equal attention to all residents of this province. Sectarian and biased views cannot be tolerated; the views should be national,” he underlined.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “Equity ensures the interests of the regime, Shias, Sunnis and all Muslims. Allah Almighty does not like those who have sectarian viewpoints. I do not differentiate between Shias and Sunnis, Baloch and Sistanis and other residents. I think this policy is in accordance with Islam.”

He reminded the provincial officials of Sistan-Balochistan to remember their promises. He also called on national authorities to not forget their promises they made during election campaign.

Police should be cautious
At the end of his speech, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid criticized behavior of police and security forces who have been opening fire on people just because of loading rice and other illegally transited goods.

He said: “Recently some citizens have been killed in shooting of the police. Security forces should be careful; they must avoid opening fire on roads and public places. Such shootings harm peace of the province. People should not be killed just because of carrying rice, fuel and other worthless goods.”

“Such incidents will be excuses in the hands of bad-wishers. We hope the forces will move ahead to strengthen unity, fraternity and security,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.

Human beings are caliphs of Allah on the earth
In the first part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said about the especial status of mankind among the other creatures and said: “Allah Almighty has given human beings some attributes and characters which cannot be found in other creatures. Wisdom and caliphate of Allah on the earth are among them.”

“The capability of caliphate and representing the Almighty was given to human beings not angels, jinn and other creatures. Serving creatures of Allah is the requirement and necessity of being caliphs of Allah,” he added more.

Khateeb of Zahedan said: “As human beings are stronger than other creatures, they should be stronger in worshiping Allah. They should be merciful as Allah is.”
