The eminent Islamic scholar expressed his sympathy with the victims of the recent deadly earthquake took lives of hundreds of people in the western provinces of Iran.
The official website of Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan published the statement of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid where he asked the officials and common people to support the victims “immediately”.
The president of Darululoom Zahedan said: “The Islamic and humane morals urge on us to work hard for soothing the mournful people.”
He prayed for the full forgiveness of the deceased men and women, asking the Almighty to reward the survivors ‘patience’.
