The outstanding Iranian Sunni leader, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid criticized the recent statements of the US president Donald Trump in the United Nations General Assembly calling such statements the reasons behind the spread of “extremism” and “terrorism”.

The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid reported that he had said in his speech to the Sunni worshipers in Zahedan on Friday 22nd Sep. 2017: “The caustic and threatening speech of the US president to the 72nd General Assembly of the UN was against the diplomatic common law. He ignored the status of the nations of Iran and the US as well as the present representatives of other countries.”

“The recent statement of Mr. Trump do not develop peace in the world, rather it diffuses extremism and perilous phenomenon of terrorism globally. Thus we decry the words of the US president,” he added more.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid further said: “President of a country which claims to be civilized and developed, should not speak in this way, rather he should talk in a manner that brings peace for all nations”.

Crimes of Buddhists against Myanmar Muslims ‘unprecedented’
Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan termed the calamities of the Muslim Ummah ‘unprecedented’ and said: “The Muslim Ummah suffers from unexampled calamites and crises. There was a time that only occupation of Palestine by the Zionist regime was the anxiety of Muslims, but now the whole Ummah suffers from various problems.”

“The sea of blood flows in the world and we see such horrible scenes that we cannot look at them. It was unimaginable for human beings to peel skin of an alive person,” he added more.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid termed the crimes against the Muslim community in Myanmar “intolerable” and said: “Although the elements who commit crimes against Muslims in Myanmar are Buddhists and idolaters, but all human beings should have ruth for others. Crimes of Buddhists against Muslims are away from humanity.”

“The state of Myanmar has been conducting an ethnic cleansing of a nation that constitutes the second majority in the world and believes in monotheism. The idolater Buddhists massacre Muslims and kill women, children and old men ruthlessly burning them alive. This barbarism is unexampled,” the most influential Iranian Sunni leader urged.

He denounced the “evasion” of the de facto leader of Myanmar and said: “It is astonishing that the de facto leader of Myanmar shows evasion on the genocide of Rohingya Muslims, while due to the crimes of Myanmar Army and extremist Buddhists tens of thousands people have been massacred and displaced.”

The Iranian Sunni leader further said: “The international reaction on the massacre of Rohingya was so weak; if there was such an aggression against Christians, Jews or Buddhists, the powerful countries would threaten the aggressors to military action. But the victims in Myanmar aggression are Muslims, thus the powers just watch the crimes and do not act upon their humane duties.”

Muslim states should decide against Myanmar unanimously
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his regret on the dispersal of the Muslim world and said: “Muslims and the Muslim world suffer from dispersal and diversity as they cannot have a unanimous stance against the rulers of Myanmar. The enemies of Islam misuse this dispersal of Muslims.”

“Because of dispersal in the Muslim world, the Muslim countries could not cut their diplomatic ties with Myanmar. They cannot threaten this country to military action in order to save oppressed Rohingya Muslims as the international laws allow them to have a military action when a genocide takes place,” he added more.

The president of Darululoom Zahedan stated: “The world powers have permission to assault Muslim states in the Middle East and massacre Muslims, why Muslim states should not have such a right to save Rohingya Muslims from ethnic and religious clean-up and genocide?”

Alluding to the calamities and problems of people in the Muslim world due to civil wars, he said: “Today cruelty and injustice rage in the world. The Almighty watches what has been going on and bloodshed of innocent; He will not leave such crimes answerless. Such acts should make us vigilant.”

“Allah Almighty may tolerate polytheism and paganism, but He does not tolerate injustice and cruelty. Be sure cries and complaints of oppressed will not be wasted. Today’s humanity should not play with its fate and call divine punishment by cruelty and injustice,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid added more.

He underline: “The powers which throw their heavy bombs on defenseless and oppressed Muslims in the Muslim countries should fear divine punishment; Zionists, Americans, Russians and the rest invaders who destroy cities and kill innocents with any pretext should be alert of the punishment by Allah.”

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan termed the recent storms and whirlwind in the US are examples of a divine punishment.

Plan & spend for educating your children
The rector and president of Darululoom Zahedan alluded to the start of new academic year in Iran. Congratulating these days to teachers, students and academians, he said: “Learning and teaching are among the best avocations in the world. I’d like to emphasize on getting knowledge and education; the fate of every nation depends on education.”

“The best families and parents are those who give importance to the education of their children and have contacts with educational centers and schools. Plan and spend money for education of your children. Your children should seek knowledge and higher certificates in the field of education,” the prominent Iranian Sunni scholar further said.

However he pointed out to the purpose of education and said: “The main purpose of getting education should not be earning money and finding avocation, rather getting knwoledeg itself is very important. In the light of knowledge we can develop our temporary as well as endless lives.”
