Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to the importance of Hijab in his Friday sermon of Jan. 27, 2017 during Zahedan’s main gathering for the Friday prayers and called on women to realize Hijab and piety.

The official website of the office of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, the Friday imam of Sunnis in Zahedan city reported, he had termed the Islamic laws ‘the best rulings’ and said: “The rulings and orders of the Almighty are the best rulings on the earth. There is possibility of mistake in the human-made law and therefore they get changed always.”

“But the divine rulings are unchangeable as they are perfect. Mankind never face deadlock by acting upon them. Although there were some interim rulings in the beginning years of Islam, then Allah changed them bringing them on the final state,” he added more.

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan further said: “After the end of the revelation, all divine laws will remain forever. The Sublime has constituted these regulations according to His knowledge about His slaves; they are the rules which ensure the respect of mankind.”

Pointing out to Hijab as one of the divine rulings, he said: “Taking Hijab and being pious is very important for women. The respect of women is in Hijab. Women should not dress in tight and slim as Islam urges. Islam respects the status of women.”

The Hadith teacher at Darululoom Zahedan said: “Those who bring women out nakedly and think it is the symbol of progress and civilization, they are in a big mistake. According to Islam, women can take part in political, cultural, scientific and developmental fields, but with Hijab and dressing appropriately.”

“The personality and prestige of a woman is in piety, modesty and Islamic veil. Modesty is one of the chapters of faith and moral excellences. Modesty and hijab have been underlined in all cultures and traditions, especially in the Islamic civilization,” he added more.

Khateeb of Sunnis further said: “The Almighty has called on human beings, including Muslims and non-Muslims, to dress in two cloths; one is the outward dress which covers the body. Without it, the person looks very ugly and it is shameful. The second one is the cloth of piety and avoiding from misdeeds; this dress protects the person from sins”.

“We should be vigilant; as Satan undressed Adam and Eve, he struggles to undress and make women of our society nude, too. The nude cultures misuse women to boost their trades and businesses,” he underlined.

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan concluded his points by saying: “Muslim women should follow Islamic culture and values. Islamically, it is not allowed for any woman to go outside and public places after makeup and using perfume. Travelling for women is allowed only in accompany of a mahram man.”

Employ locals in the Makran Coastal Strip Development
Alluding to the conference of ‘Makran Coastal Strip Development’ held in Chabahar, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on the employment of local residents in different phases of the plan.

Describing the plan, he said: “Makran is a semi-desert coastal strip in Baluchistan, in Pakistan and Iran, along the coast of the Persian Gulf and Oman Sea until Jaask district in Hormozgan province. After the full implementation of the plan, not only Sistan-Baluchistan will be changed, but the countries of the region and Central Asia will benefit from it, too.”

“As the vice-president made it clear, local residents should get priority in employments. It is one of the anxieties of our people which should be considered seriously. The people of this deprived province should take part in the plan and the way must be paved for them,” he added more.

The most influential Iranian Sunni scholar recommended the local residents of the region and said: “People should get ready for cooperation by investment and learning the necessary skills. The provincial authorities also should plan for vocational training courses employing the jobless residents. Then the experts and educated skilled residents of the rest provinces should be employed. Ignoring the locals is not suitable.”

Meeting of the envoy of Persian Gulf states with Iranian officials ‘hopeful’
In another part of his speech before tens of thousands worshipers in Zahedan, the prominent Sunni scholar of Iran welcomed the meeting an envoy of the gulf states with the high profile Iranian authorities and said: “Meeting of the envoy of the gulf states with the president Rouhani and foreign minister was hopeful. We hope the Muslim states will open the door of dialogue among each other, resolving the problems by foresight and wide chest.”

“Today the Muslim world suffers from ruinous wars and conflicts; these conflicts have destroyed the both worlds of nations. War demolishes the culture, peace and honor of any region carrying material and spiritual damages. War does not leave anything even for the one who is on the ‘right’ side,” he emphasized.

In another part of his sermon, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to devastating flood in the southern part of Baluchistan in Iran, calling on people to take part in helping their brothers and sisters in this difficult time.
