Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan urged on the imitation of Shari’ah and avoiding from outward and inward sins, calling misdeeds ‘abnormality’ and exit from the path of sobriety.

“SunniOnline” quoted the website of the office of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid that he began his latest speech of Jan. 20, 2017 by the recitation of the initial verses of Baqarah chapter and said: “Allah Almighty has mentioned the features of pious people in the beginning verses of the chapter Baqarah. Vigilant and observant people consider these features and work hard to act upon them.”

“Allah Almighty likes sobriety and being mean in all aspects of life. The one who moves on the path of sobriety, s/he will be safe from infidelity, cruelty and injustice,” he added more.

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan further said: “The man who commits sins and cruelty, he has gone away from the path of sobriety. All kinds of misdeeds and sins destroy heart.”

“The straight path is the path of worship and obeying the Almighty. Allah says: ‘And that you should worship Me. That is the straight path’. Worshipping Allah is not only offering prayers and observing fast, rather all kinds of obedience are worship,” he further said.

The outstanding Hadith and Tafseer teacher urged on the necessity of purification and said: “There should be some people in any society to strive for uprooting sins and removing corruption. The Noble Qur’an has termed the men who work hard for purification of a society, ‘sane and sagacious’; Allah says: ‘If only there had been among the generations before you persons having wisdom, prohibiting (others) from Fasad (corruption) in the earth, except a few of those whom We saved from among them!’ [11:116].”

“We should think of our purification and reformation of others. We should reform the relations between us and the Almighty to remain safe from the divine punishment. There are people who commit sins bravely with negligence, we should remind them that Allah watches us and our all acts,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid concluded his points.

Blaze & collapse of Plasco, shocking & painful
In another part of his sermon, Khateeb of Sunnis alluded to the blaze and losses after the collapse of a trade center in Tehran. Expressing his deep concerns on the incident, he said: “The blaze in Plasco building was very shocking and painful; many of countrymen have been died and wounded in the incident. It was a big economic damage, too.”

Offering condolence to the family members of the firefighters who suffered from damages, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “The most painful part of the incident was the damages of the firefighters. They sacrificed their lives to save others. This sacrifice of the firemen is admirable.”

He prayed to Allah for ‘forgiveness’ of the diseased ones, ‘full cure’ of injured citizens and ‘amends’ for those who lost their wealth in the incident.

At the end of his speech, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid alluded to the demise of Shaikh Saleemullah Khan, the chairman of Wifaq-ul-Madaris Pakistan and rector of Jamia Farouqia Karachi. He termed the late a ‘great teacher of Hadith’ who devoted his entire life for Islam.
