Shaikh Abdol-Hamid criticized in his sermon of 11th Nov. 2016 the policies of the previous US presidents in ‘war on terror’ calling the new-elected president to not repeat his predecessors’ wrong strategies.

The outstanding Iranian Sunni scholar, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid reacted to the victory of Donald Trump in the US election and said, “A man has been elected as the president of the US who has harsh negative views about Muslims. He announced before the election to stop Muslims from entering America if he is elected the president of the US.”

“We recommend the new president of the US if he really wants to uproot terrorism and extremism, first of all he should study the main reasons behind the incidents which have taken place in the Muslim world pulling some Muslims towards extremism. In this process, he shouldn’t repeat the mistakes of the previous US presidents (George W. Bush and Barack Obama). We think these two presidents were failed. Although Mr. Obama was a sober man, but he committed blunders in his stances,” he underlined.

Two main factors of terrorism
Terming ‘Soviet Union’s assault on Afghanistan’ and ‘occupation of Palestine by Israel’ the two main reasons of insecurity and extremism in the world, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said, “The new wave of problems has been erupted when the Soviet Union (Russia) assaulted an independent country and massacred the Afghan people. In reaction to that invasion, different groups rose up with the motives of resistance.”

Pointing out to the second factor of the spread of terrorism in the world, he stated, “The second reason behind the spread of terrorism in the world returns to the audacious occupation of Palestine by Israel. The sinister regime of Israel has deprived Palestinians even from speaking on their rights refusing to focus on the call of the Palestinian nation that has been demanding justice and freedom. Instead of sitting on the table of negotiation, they have been oppressing the people of Palestine. Thus suicide and martyrdom-seeking attacks, which are being called ‘terrorism’ in the Western world, spread everywhere.”

Tyrant West-supported regimes, 3rd reason of terrorism
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan added more, “The third reason behind the spread of extremism in the world is ‘tyrant and Western-supported dictator’ regimes which denied to ensure the due rights of ethnic and religious communities. Rather these governments came to oppression, imprisonment and torture.”

“If you maintain your ongoing wrong policies about ‘war on terror’ continuing the stance of oppression and war, in fact you extend terrorism in the word more. I clearly tell you, your strategies to uproot terrorism until now have been failed badly,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid addressed the Western and Eastern powers.

He said, “The continuity of the current wrong policies means the west wants to propel all Muslims towards extremism.”

“If Mr. Trump wants to be a successful president, first of all he should know the occupation of Palestine must be stopped. There must be a fair focus on the due demands of ethnic and religious sides and all nations. Justice and freedom can ensure peace in the world,” the prominent Islamic scholar pointed out.

Calling the US and Russia ‘responsible’ for the ongoing crises in the Muslim world, he said, “People in the world have been suffering from terrorism just because of the arrogance temper of the US and Russia. They do not pay any attention to the voice of people.”

“The so-called super powers may create troubles in the Muslim states deliberately to attain their interests. They want to establish military basis in the Muslim countries by massacring nations,” Khateeb and Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan further said.

Concluding his points, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said, “If anyone wants to continue enmity with Islam, he should know Allah the Almighty is the best revenger. The Exalted uproots the ones who want to fight against the right killing the divine light. No one can withstand before the Almighty.”
