Alluding to the continuous conspiracies of the anti-Islam elements in his Friday sermon of Oct. 14, 2016, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on the unity of Muslims to rebuff these plots.

The website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid’s office reported, he began his latest Friday speech before tens of thousands Sunni worshipers by the Noble Qur’anic verse: «یریدون لیطفئوا نورالله بأفواههم والله متم نوره و لو کره الکافرون» and said, “By a glimpse into the Noble Qur’an and history of prophets and other divine religions, it can be concluded the truth has always been under the attacks of the wrong. There has been a scuffle between iman and kofr, the right and wrong, monotheism and polytheism. It is because Batil (the wrong) never can tolerate the truth and Haqq.”

“The prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, and the Noble Qur’an were always targeted by the oppressions of disbelievers such as Jews of that time. The occurrence of battles such as Badr, Ohod and Hunain is an evidence that Islam was facing serious threats. Not only inside the Arabian Peninsula, but also in abroad Romans wanted to eliminate Islam and Muslims,” he added more.

The eminent Islamic scholar in Iran termed Islam a ‘regenerative’ religion and said, “The enemies consider Islam a threat for themselves while it is not a threat to humanity, but it is a regenerative religion. Islam is the religion of temperance and full of mercy. It is an opportunity for the whole world including the west and east that proclaim to be advanced and civilized.”

“Islam is not the religion of war; the people who think it has come for fighting, they have not recognized it well. Islam does not warn the world for fighting. It only wants the right to be cleared and described for people. Islam as a religion does not and has not forced anyone to accept it. This religion is a threat for imperialism, injustice and illogic people who loot the resources of nations aggressively. Islam addresses its followers to not fight against those who do not want to fight against you but want to deal,” the rector of Darululoom Zahedan underlined.

He further said, “The study of Islamic history suggests that the beloved prophet PBUH did not kill any hostage and prisoner of war; rather he released them or made them slaves if they were threats for Muslims. Many of the slaves were freed when they reformed their attitudes.”

Pointing out to the identity of the enemies of Islam, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid stated, “Islam has always been threatened by the egoist elements who want to mislead people. Therefore, Allah Almighty asks Muslims to defend Islam if the aggressors assault on it.”

“The enemies want to eliminate Islam and Muslims by different methods and plots. They disguise their intentions behind the words like ‘terrorism’ and ‘extremism’; but they just want to attack on Muslim countries and occupy them,” he added more.

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan went on to say more, “The western and eastern powers want to dominate over the heart of Islam; they want to get their interests and push the Muslim world towards the side they want. The enemies of Islam are sincere with none of Muslim sects.”

“The enemies have been planning how to mislead and uproot the ongoing Islamic awakening in the world. They attack on this tendency and Islamic sacred objects by different media outlets,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid emphasized.

In another part of his speech, he termed ‘support of Islam’ the duty of all Muslims and said, “It is in accordance with the interests of Muslims and all human beings if Islam remains safe and protected. Acting upon Islam and supporting it the duty of all Muslims.”

“In the current era, the Muslim world is under harsh attack of the enemies. Therefore, Muslims should be united and rebuff their plots by solidarity. Muslims should be alert; there are some people claim to be Muslims, but they plot against Islam by collusion,” he concluded his points.

At the end of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his thanks to the provincial attorney and Salman Brigade for deporting an extremist Shia panegyrist and arresting his followers in Zahedan city during Moharram mourning ceremonies.

He said, “Extremists of any sect should be controlled; otherwise they will create more divisions among Muslims.”

Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah also alluded to the demise of Shaikh Taaha Kamalizadeh Naqshbandi, a prominent scholar in Orumieh city, praying to Allah for his full forgiveness.
