Urging on benefiting from the worldly life to get prepared for the Hereafter, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid termed the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah ‘a particular opportunity’ for worshiping the Almighty.

Talking to tens of thousands worshipers in Zahedan, southeastern Iran, on Friday Sep. 02, 2016, he said, “We all go on the path of the Almighty; a day comes when we will meet Him. Our end is uncertain when we meet the Almighty; whether we are prosperous or failed.”

“By passing each day and night, we go closer to our death. Thus we should get prepared for the last journey. We should benefit from the blessings of health, comfort and free times of life to be good servants of Allah,” he added more.

Alluding to the arrival of the last lunar month, Dhul-Hijjah, Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan said, “Dhul-Hijjah is one of the best opportunities to get closer to the Almighty. Worshipping at the nights of the first ten days like worshipping in the night of Qadr. Fasting in each day of this part is equal to the fasting of a whole year. Observing fast in the night day of Dhul-Hijjah is equal to the fasting of two years.”

“Take the benefits of the worldly mortal life for the endless journey. We should get ready for the day where wealth, children and sons cannot benefit men. Any kind of opposition to the Divine orders will be considered a big sin on the Accountability Day. So we should repent to Allah and avoid misdeeds always,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.

Iranian pilgrims’ absence is regrettable
Expressing his regret on the absence of the Iranian pilgrims from Hajj of 2016, Khateeb and Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan said, “In the previous years, there was an exceptional atmosphere by convoying pilgrims in these days. But now there is no any pilgrim to escort him! Iranian nation has been deprived of Hajj this year.”

“Unfortunately, the officials did not show broad-mindedness –as it was expected-, particularly the Saudi authorities, in the case of Iranians’ Hajj. We hope those who were supposed to perform Hajj, but couldn’t do so because of the occurred problem, they will have share in the blessings of hajj,” he added more.

At the end of his sermon, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid expressed his thanks to the pertinent officials in the province of Sistan-Balochistan over giving ‘deeds’ to the people of Shirabad and Qasemabad towns in eastern Zahedan where they had built houses without legal documents.

He also called on the teachers, collegians and academic figures to take the benefit of special classes for collegians in Darululoom Zahedan in the field of Islamic sciences.
