Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid urged the prosperity of mankind depended on accepting Islam, the Qur’an and the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and human beings have no choice but to confess these facts.

Talking to tens of thousands Sunni worshippers in Zahedan on May 29, 2015, he began his speech by the Noble verse of the Qur’an: «إِنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُغَيِّرُ مَا بِقَوْمٍ حَتَّى يُغَيِّرُواْ مَا بِأَنْفُسِهِمْ» and said, “Although each and everything is in the hands of the Almighty, but the fate of people is in their own hands.”

“In other words, Allah Almighty has created bad and good; people are free to choose one of them. But in the same time, Allah has warned about choosing bad and Kufr. He says “Indeed We have prepared for oppressors (wrong-doers) a Fire”, he added more.

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan underlined, “Thus everyone must be careful. All ups and downs faced by mankind though the history was due to their deeds. Neglecting the rights of the Only Lord and His creatures has made the fate of people black. When Pharaoh refused the call of the Prophet Moses, that was call toward Tawhid, he was hit by the divine punishment of the Almighty.”

“If any nation denies accepting the fact of Islam and Qur’an, it will meet the same fate of the previous nations. On the other side, if human beings see the facts and acknowledge the blessings of Allah, they will be prosperous in the both worlds. Thanking the Almighty and true faith are two great blessings of Allah,” Shaikh underlined.

He further said, “The Almighty has bestowed mankind sagacity and discretion to comprehend the facts of the universe and to see realities in any society. The Almighty dispatched prophets and divine books for more guidance of mankind. Despite these all blessings negligence cannot be accepted from mankind.”

Concluding his points, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said, “Islam, the Prophet Muhammad PBUH, the Noble Qur’an, Tawhid, the hereafter life and prophethood are facts which should be seen and believed in by mankind; otherwise how they can be prosperous? Those who refuse to have faith on the above-mentioned points, they play with their fate and divine punishment would be their ultimate end.”

Ignoring Facts Caused Crises in Muslim States
In the second part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on focusing on the rights of all communities, terming ‘negligence of the present facts’ the main cause of crises in the Muslim world.

The Friday Imam of Zahedan said, “Today’s world is not realistic, but it is world of temptations and desires. Neglecting facts is the biggest challenge of the contemporary human society.”

“Due to ignoring challenges and facts in societies, many conflicts and disputes emerged. Mainly in Muslim states governments and different groups are stuck in regional and civil wars just because of closing eyes from the obvious realities.”

The outstanding Iranian Sunni leader further said, “It is regrettable Muslim rulers do not listen to their masses and nations on time. Most of them deny to focus on due demands of people. It is the basic reason of many conflicts.”

Modern weapons tested on Muslims
Pointing out to the current circumstances of the Muslim states, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid stated, “We are against interfering in the domestic affairs of other states. Now there is a rivalry among Muslim states to restore more weapons and buy heavy guns and missiles. The enemies of Muslims test their heavy and modern weapons by killing them day and night.”

“We have been hearing shocking reports about mass graves discovered from various places in some Muslim states. They suffer from political, cultural, economic and security crises. Takfir and extremism have been spread among different sects; these all emerged thanks to neglecting the facts by rulers and politicians,” the member of the MWL supreme council added more.

He underlined, “The ongoing regional and civil wars are in favor of some powers and our enemies like the sinister regime of Israel; they add fuel to the fire. On the other hand, Muslims cannot sit together and find out any solution to these calamitous conflicts.”

Criticizing policies in some Muslim countries, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said, “Unfortunately, rulers of Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Afghanistan and some other states neglect the facts of their countries; they refuse to know on which kind of nations they rule and how they should behave with them.”

“Due to discriminative policies in those states, the present and previous rulers could not fulfil the demands of different ethnic and religious sects and communities. The policy of pressure has been utilized in these states. The ruling families and groups did not see fire under the ashes as now they suffer.”

Disputes of Muslim states, the biggest crisis
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid further said, “Disputes among different Muslim states is the biggest crisis in the current era for us. They cannot resolve their problems unless they sit together on the table of negotiation.”

“It is regrettable many neighboring countries are busy with proxy wars. Sectarian and religious conflicts leave the worst affects and consequences on the Muslim world,” he emphasized.

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan called on all Muslim rulers to avoid interfering in domestic affairs of other states and said, “It is not advisable for any Muslim state to interfere in affairs of its neighbors and other Muslim countries. Neither it is in accordance with the national interests of Iran and Saudi Arabia nor other Arab and Muslim states.”

He said, “Now Israel is a safe heaven and this satanic regime enjoys seeing Muslims busy with regional fights. All Muslim statesmen and politicians must sit together to find any working solution to these crises.”

War is not a Solution
The eminent Islamic scholar made it clear, saying, “As I said previously, war cannot be solution to any crisis; rather it is another problem that exacerbates the situation. The neo-colonial powers never want to see Muslims united. Thus we should be vigilant. All conflicts should be over; because violence creates more violence.”

At the end, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid pointed out, “It has been my wish to see top Muslim scholars of the Muslim world, regardless to their sects, to constitute boards and strive to bring Muslim rulers closer to each other. Of course Muslim rulers can ensure peace of their countries and resolve crises when they are close to each other.”
