Addressing tens of thousands worshippers -gathered at the end of Holy Qur’an’s recitation in Tarawih prayers- in the second biggest mosque of Ahl-us-Sunnah in Zahedan city, Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah in Zahedan explained the importance of Holy Qur’an in his brilliant words.
In the beginning of his discourse at 27th of Ramadan, Shaikh Abdol-Hameed applauded the founder of the ex-grand mosque of Zahedan’s Sunnis, Azizi Masjid, saying that Shaikh Abdol-Aziz Mollazade was the establisher of many good deeds; for the first time Holy Qur’an was recited completely in Tarawih prayers in Azizi Masjid just due to sincere efforts of late Shaikh Abdol-Aziz, may Allah have mercy on him.
He further said, ‘Holy Qur’an was revealed at the night of Qadr in Holy Ramadan. It has challenged since the beginning all Arab litterateurs and poets to present a chapter or verse similar to Holy Qur’an; but they have been failed to bring such a unique oration. Doubtlessly they would not be able to do so in future as well. All litterateurs and writers of the modern world must know that Holy Qur’an has been revealed to humanity from Allah, and it is the obvious miracle of our beloved prophet Muhammad, peace & blessings be upon him.’
Introducing Holy Qur’an a clear witness for the legitimacy and rightfulness of Islam, the outstanding Islamic scholar pointed, ‘Muslims in the early age of Islam adopted all teachings of the Qur’an; they became the most prosperous nation across the globe. Then Muslims went away from the everlasting commands of Holy Qur’an, their power weakened gradually. Muslims can get their lost honor only by returning towards Holy Qur’an.’
Shaikh Ismaeelzahi continued his points in the light of holy Qur’anic verse: “یا ایها الذین آمنوا ادخلوا فی السلم کافة” and said Islam wants people to be submissive and obedient. Islam is the religion of obedience and submission. The secret of prosperity and achieving the pleasure of Allah Almighty is in enduring difficulties on the path of Allah and acting upon the shining instructions of Holy Qur’an. Muslims should adopt Islam all the time; in both Ramadan and other eleven months of the year.
Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah warned the audience of the finishing ceremony of Holy Qur’an in Azizi Masjid over the “attacks” of Satan, saying, ‘Satan will target you after Ramadan to get you away from Holy Qur’an and Islam. You should be vigilant and careful. Muslim men and women must resist Satan; Ramadan has come to prepare you for this resistance.’
At the end of his discourse, Shaikh Ismaeelzahi asked male and female youth to have chastity. He recommended them to seek Islamic and modern education to serve the nation in a better way.
Shaikh Abdol-Hameed concluded the ceremony by his sincere and humble prays; especially for oppressed Muslims over the world.
