Khateeb of the Sunni community of Zahedan, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed, enlightened on the importance of struggle to achieve success in the both worlds, in his latest Friday sermon.

Shaikh Ismaeelzahi began his sermon by recitation of the Quranic verses: «یا أیها الانسان إنک کادح إلی ربک کدحا فملاقیه,» {O man, you have to work hard constantly to reach your Lord, and then you have to meet Him.} and said that Allah Almighty sent to human being Holy Quran, the most comprehensive book, that contains a guideline for all. Allah Exalted has chosen Islam as the last and selective religion. No one can be successful without adopting the bright teachings of the Quran in his/her life.

He further said, ‘Our Lord has bestowed us a valuable asset in the Quran; striving is the key of prosperity in this mortal world and the immortal world. A Muslim must work hard to get Halal sustenance. No one should sit at home not making efforts for sustenance that Allah is the All-Sustainer. No doubt, He bestows everyone sustenance; “There is no creature on earth whose sustenance is not undertaken by Allah,” as He says in the Quran. But, this is the duty of people to endeavor for getting sustenance.’

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan added more saying that panhandling is a very bad habit. People should seek sustenance by legal ways. Everyone must choose good jobs and sources for income. There are many harmful businesses and jobs, you should avoid from them.

‘In the same way, if somebody wants to get knowledge and to be a successful scholar; so continuous struggle is the only remedy. They should strive constantly to research and present valuable works,’ Shaikh pointed.

At the end, Mawlana Abdul Hameed declared “negligence” a thing that ruins human being’s asset and asked the audience to think always about the grave and the Hereafter life.
