The rector and principal of Darululoom Zahedan, the biggest Islamic seminary in Iran, talked to dozens of rectors and teachers of Islamic seminary, imams of mosques and Khateebs at the Grand Makki mosque on 26th July, 2017.

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan pointed out to important points about the curriculum of Islamic seminaries in the Indian sub-continent and their followers in Iran and other countries He urged on the review of the curriculum in these seminaries.

The prominent Iranian Sunni leader expressed his hope that the upcoming government of Dr. Rouhani would remove weaknesses of his previous cabinet.

Following the biggest attack of Daesh in Iran, dozens of public figures denounced the attack. Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, the most influential Iranian Sunni cleric and social leader also decried the attack on the parliament and shrine of Ayatollah Khomeini.

Issuing a statement, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid decried the recent bloody attacks in the capital of Afghanistan and expressed his sympathy with the victims.

A group of Baloch political, social and academic activists of Iranian Balochistan glorified Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid on his struggles in different areas.

The most influential Iranian Sunni leader urged on focusing and highlighting “Iranian nationality and motherland not sect and religion”.

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan urged on taking part in elections on Friday 19th May, 2017 and termed the vote of people a “trust which shouldn’t be betrayed”.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, the famous Sunni scholar in Iran, has declared that most Sunnis are inclined to vote for the current president, Hassan Rouhani, in the upcoming May 19 election, despite their complaints about his government.

The prominent Iranian Sunni leader urged on the ‘necessity of revising some parts of the constitution’ in order to legitimize candidacy of Sunni citizens to run for presidential election.
