Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdolhamid, who had traveled to the sacred land of the Haramain to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, returned to Zahedan this morning, Friday, June 27th, 2025.
According to the official website of the Office of the Sunni Friday Imam of Zahedan, upon his arrival at Darululoom Zahedan, Mawlana Abdolhamid was received warmly by scholars, students, and members of the public. He then entered the Makki Grand Mosque, where he offered supplications for a few moments.
It is noteworthy that Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdolhamid, who had departed on 16 May to perform the rites of Hajj, was compelled to travel to Afghanistan due to the suspension of flights to Iran following recent hostilities between Israel and Iran. He subsequently returned to the country via the border of Nimruz Province.
