Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid, in a message, expressed deep sorrow over the tragic murder of Amir Mohammad Khaleqi Darmian, a student at the University of Tehran. He prayed for divine forgiveness and elevation of ranks for the young student and extended his condolences to his family, relatives, and the academic community. Mawlana Abdol Hamid also emphasized the need for an “immediate and serious investigation” by the relevant authorities.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him, we shall return.”
The news of the murder of Mr. Amir Mohammad Khaleqi Darmian, a student at the University of Tehran, by unknown individuals has deeply saddened and grieved me.
I extend my condolences on this tragic incident to the family and relatives of the late Amir Mohammad Khaleqi, as well as to students and the academic community. I pray to the Almighty for divine forgiveness and the elevation of ranks for this dear young man.
Students and academics are among the greatest assets of society, and ensuring their safety is of utmost importance. It is incumbent upon the authorities to conduct an immediate and serious investigation into this incident, identify and punish those responsible, and thereby provide solace to the bereaved family and restore a sense of security and peace among students.
