Selected Statements of Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid at the Graduation Ceremony of Madrasa al-Banat Fatimah al-Zahra and the Quran Memorization Program of Hawza Ilmiyya Sayyid al-Mursalin, Chah-Ali Village, Nikshahr County – Thursday night, February 13, 2025:

Quran and Prophetic Tradition

📌 The Quran and the Prophetic Tradition are the greatest treasures of the Islamic Ummah and, indeed, of all humankind.
📌 Humanity is in dire need of the blessing and wealth of the Quran. Due to ignorance and deprivation from this treasure, people are perishing, yet they refuse to listen to it.
📌 Faith and religion are unparalleled assets.
📌 Those who embrace faith and bring it into their lives are truly fortunate.
📌 Religion is God’s mercy, designed to elevate humans toward paradise.
📌 A person ascends through faith, righteous deeds, and noble character.
📌 The divine scriptures, including the Glorious Quran, are sacred trusts from Allah. The mountains, the heavens, and the earth lacked the capacity to bear this responsibility, yet humanity accepted it, aspiring for divine reward, closeness to Allah, and His pleasure.
📌 We must be trustworthy with Allah’s religion and safeguard His commandments.
📌 Our greatest duty is to protect faith and divine laws.
📌 We must shape ourselves according to the teachings of the Quran and the Prophet.

Spiritual Purification

📌 Human beings need self-purification and must be nurtured with true faith and noble character.
📌 If a person fails to know Allah and purify themselves, they will face suffering in this world and the Hereafter.
📌 Allah has given us faith and the Quran to help us purify and reform ourselves.

Prayer (Salah)

📌 Prayer is the highest form of servitude to God.
📌 It is a transformative and impactful form of worship that prevents minor and major sins.
📌 During prayer, a believer humbles themselves before Allah.
📌 When a worshiper prostrates, they are closer to Allah than they would be even at the Kaaba or Hajar al-Aswad.
📌 At the moment of prayer, Allah removes the veils between Himself and the worshiper.
📌 During prayer, one must forget everything else and focus only on Allah.
📌 One must stand before God with humility, as if seeing Him, and if one does not see Him, they should know that He sees them.
📌 Prayer attracts divine mercy and eases difficulties.

Charity (Zakat) and Generosity

📌 Zakat and charitable giving are essential acts of worship.
📌 We must sacrifice wealth for Allah’s sake to save ourselves from Hellfire.
📌 Through charity, one attains purity, detachment from materialism, and self-purification.

Fasting and Ramadan

📌 Fasting is a powerful and transformative act of worship that leads to guidance and self-discipline.
📌 Prepare for Ramadan by fasting, seeking forgiveness, and giving zakat in the month of Sha’ban.
📌 Fasting is a special and unique form of worship; on the Day of Judgment, while angels distribute rewards for all other deeds, Allah Himself will grant the reward for fasting.

Ethics and Morality

📌 Many Muslims today struggle with poor ethics and fail to uphold human rights.
📌 Respecting neighbors, treating others well, and honoring human dignity are paths to paradise.
📌 Allah bestowed upon the Prophet the highest moral virtues.
📌 Show mercy to the young and respect the elderly.

Repentance and Seeking Forgiveness

📌 Committing sins openly is an act of shamelessness.
📌 Alcohol consumption and drug use are forbidden. Some even post pictures while consuming these substances, which is a dangerous form of promoting sin.
📌 Murder is among the gravest sins.
📌 If all of humanity participates in the killing of an innocent person, Allah will punish them all in the Hereafter.
📌 Repent from sins and have hope in Allah’s mercy.
📌 A person who prays but continues sinning, hoping only for divine mercy, is following Satan’s deception.
📌 Abandoning sin and obeying Allah guarantees success in this life and the next.
📌 Those who disobey Allah and His Messenger only harm themselves.
