Selected Speeches of Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid at the 6th Conference Honoring the Quran Memorizers and Female Graduates of Misbah-ul-Uloom Religious School, Mohammadan, Iranshahr – Wednesday, February 13, 2025:

#Prophet Ibrahim (AS)

📌 Prophet Ibrahim (AS) was a great and powerful man who raised the banner of monotheism in the world.
📌 By breaking the idols, Prophet Ibrahim (AS) made people reflect and proved that one who needs help for his own salvation cannot be a deity.
📌 Allah Almighty has given human beings reason to understand truths and realities.
📌 The entire world is subject to change, and even prophets and saints fall ill and pass away; one who experiences weakness cannot be worshipped.
📌 Prophet Ibrahim (AS) is the pride of humanity and the honor of mankind.
📌 The prophets (AS) were teachers who directly received divine revelation and religion from Allah Almighty and conveyed it to people. They were God’s trusted representatives, tasked with shaping humanity.
📌 Hajj, the Kaaba, and the formation of the Muslim Ummah are all linked to Prophet Ibrahim (AS); the Muslim Ummah is the outcome of his supplication.
📌 Prophet Ibrahim (AS) prayed: “O Allah! From my progeny, create a nation that submits to You.”
📌 No nation has a greater honor than submission to the Lord and humility before Him.
📌 Prophet Ibrahim (AS) prayed for his children and future generations; likewise, fathers should pray for both the worldly and spiritual well-being of their children, with their foremost supplication being for their faith.

#Islam

📌 The Messenger of Allah ﷺ endured all threats and hardships to establish the Ummah and rescue humanity from misguidance and polytheism.
📌 The mission of the Prophet ﷺ and the formation of the Ummah were the results of Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) supplication.
📌 Prophet Ibrahim (AS) bestowed the honorable name “Islam” upon this nation, meaning a people who submit to Allah’s command.
📌 Anyone who follows Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is an adherent of Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
📌 Islam is entirely in harmony with reason and logic.
📌 Rational people do not reject Islam, as none of its rulings contradict reason and logic.
📌 All Islamic teachings align with human nature and creation and serve the benefit of spirituality, religion, worldly life, and human well-being.
📌 The teachings of Islam and the noble character of the Prophet ﷺ uplifted the noble wives, the daughters of the Prophet, and the women of the Muhajirin and Ansar to unparalleled ranks in history.

#Morality

📌 Islam commands people to practice modesty, chastity, and decency; “Haya” (modesty) is an essential branch of Islam.
📌 Modesty compels a person to respect the rights of others.
📌 Chastity and purity in society and human lineage are preserved through modesty.
📌 Lying is a grave sin and incurs the curse of Allah.
📌 Lying, sorcery, disobedience to parents, adultery, bribery, and financial corruption are destructive sins.
📌 Financial corruption must be combated and eradicated from its roots.
📌 The purpose of religion is to cultivate people’s faith and morality and to establish a society and civilization based on purity and noble ethics.

#The Mission of Islam

📌 Islam’s mission is to shape both the worldly and eternal life of human beings and connect them to Allah.
📌 The mission of religion is not only to prepare for the afterlife but also to establish a just and moral life in this world.
📌 Both this world and the hereafter belong to Allah; whoever seeks success in both will receive them from the Almighty.

#Knowledge

📌 Knowledge and education are the lost treasures of our society.
📌 The backwardness of Muslims today is due to their failure to keep up with modern sciences.
📌 Modern and academic sciences contribute to worldly progress, while religious knowledge builds faith, worldly life, and the afterlife.
📌 Encourage your children to pursue education both within the country and abroad.
📌 We need committed and compassionate doctors and humanitarian scholars.
📌 Our advice and emphasis to religious scholars are to prioritize education, universities, and the specialized training of the community’s youth.
📌 Nations that advance materially but neglect their afterlife are ultimately at a loss.

#Raising Children

📌 Do not leave your children unsupervised to associate with corrupt individuals and learn sinful behaviors.
📌 Many societal problems stem from irreligion and unemployment.
📌 Create job opportunities for your children and assist them in learning a profession.
📌 If your children are exposed to sin and corruption, migrate to a place with a more educational and moral environment.
📌 Do not lie to your children, deceive them, or frighten them, even as a joke. Breaking promises to children fosters dishonesty in them.

#Humanity

📌 “Humanity” and “Islamic identity” are one and the same; building both a human and an Islamic society is essential.
📌 Today’s distress stems from humanity straying from the path of justice, fairness, and honesty.
📌 Strengthen humanity—be the guardians of people’s secrets, do not expose others’ faults, avoid backbiting, and never accuse anyone falsely.
📌 Raising awareness among people contributes to the development of society.

#Advocacy

📌 Every individual has a social duty not to remain indifferent to the problems of society, especially those affecting vulnerable and needy groups.
📌 Maintain security; borders should not be left unsafe.
📌 Advocate for your rights—voice your concerns and follow up on issues so that equality and fairness prevail in society, ensuring that people attain their rightful entitlements.
