Selected Statements of Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid at the 48th Graduation Ceremony of the Students of Manba-ul-Uloom Seminary, Kohwan (a district of Sarbaz County) – Tuesday, January 28th , 2025:
📌 Today, we have gathered at the teaching place of Mawlana Mohammad Omar (may Allah have mercy on him). Mawlana endured hardships and remained steadfast.
📌 Mawlana Mohammad Omar Sarbazi was a knower of Allah, an exceptional and refined personality, and a man of perseverance.
📌 The result of the steadfastness of Mawlana Mohammad Omar Sarbazi and Mawlana Abdol Aziz in the path of truth led to the advancement of religious schools.
📌 Mawlana Abdol Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him) had great affection for Mawlana Mohammad Omar. In his final days, when Mawlana Abdol Aziz was ill and hospitalized in Mashhad, Mawlana Mohammad Omar informed him that he would come to visit. Mawlana Abdol Aziz eagerly awaited the meeting. When they finally met, he was overjoyed. Mawlana Abdol Aziz asked Mawlana Mohammad Omar to pray for a good ending for him. Mawlana Mohammad Omar comforted him, saying, “Your ending will be blessed.” Mawlana Abdol Aziz replied, “The worry about my end has broken my back.” A few days after this meeting, in the month of Dhu al-Hijjah and before Eid al-Adha, Mawlana Abdol Aziz passed away.
📌 All the saints, righteous people, and mystics of God have been concerned about their final moments.
📌 The people of truth and the people of falsehood are two opposing forces, sometimes even engaging in physical conflict. Throughout history, the people of falsehood have waged wars against the truth to eradicate it.
📌 The people of falsehood cast Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) into the fire, but Allah Almighty granted him victory.
📌 The path of truth is the path of monotheism and correct belief, while the path of falsehood is based on polytheism, self-indulgence, and materialism.
📌 If the people of truth cease to exist, the world loses its value, and God will bring life to an end.
📌 The oppressors, tyrants, and arrogant rulers of the time fought against the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
📌 The people of truth are compassionate and seek to spread righteousness, whereas the people of falsehood pursue war and corruption.
📌 The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the flag-bearer of the people of truth and a benefactor of humanity.
📌 Observing the rights of parents, relatives, neighbors, the needy, and all people is obligatory upon us.
📌 Respecting people’s rights, showing kindness to the young, and honoring the elderly are great lessons of Islam and essential teachings of this divine religion.
📌 Islam transformed those who had poor morals into individuals of beautiful character and noble ethics.
📌 Islam stands against arrogance, greed, hypocrisy, and breaking promises.
📌 Islam is the religion of honesty and truthfulness; lying is entirely against its principles.
📌 Islam came to liberate society from lies, broken promises, insults, and hypocrisy.
📌 The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prohibited three things: the unlawful shedding of blood, violating people’s honor, and the unjust seizure of wealth.
📌 Backbiting is disrespectful, unethical, and a grave sin.
📌 Unjust killing is a serious and horrific crime. Allah Almighty has outlined four punishments for it, each of which is unbearable.
📌 Adultery is a major moral corruption that disrupts human lineage.
📌 Today, theft, administrative corruption, and various sins threaten society.
📌 Addiction is one of the greatest calamities.
📌 Alcohol consumption and gambling are so dangerous and harmful that they are categorized alongside polytheism.
📌 A person who does not give zakat is counted among the miserly, and a miserly person will not enter paradise.
📌 Without zakat and charity, a person cannot attain spiritual refinement.
📌 Sins must be abandoned, and corruption must be confronted.
📌 When corruption becomes widespread, divine punishment descends, affecting both the righteous and the wicked.
📌 Killings, conflicts, drugs, alcohol, negligence, and sins are all dangerous.
📌 If faith does not prevent one from committing sins, it will not save one from divine punishment and Hell either.
📌 A person’s faith becomes complete when they adhere to divine commandments and avoid prohibitions.
📌 The second pillar of religion is steadfastness. After acknowledging the oneness and lordship of God, we must remain firm in it and implement all the religious commandments in our lives.
📌 Allah Almighty has called for steadfastness, which means refraining from sins and anything that diminishes religion.
📌 If a Muslim does not uphold prayer, zakat, obligations, and the rights of others—which are among the highest pillars—then they have not maintained steadfastness in religion.
📌 We must revive the Sunnah and the way of life of the Prophet ﷺ in our daily lives.
📌 The Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ is comprehensive, covering individual, family, and social life.
📌 The problem in society is the lack of focus on practice. If faith is not accompanied by action, it weakens, and weak faith cannot be a source of salvation.
📌 We must hold on to religion with all our strength.
📌 Hardships and difficulties in the path of religion must be endured.
📌 Those who bear the difficulties of adhering to and practicing the Sharia will attain Paradise.
📌 It is our duty not to abandon the Ummah.
📌 We must stand by the people in all circumstances and guide them toward Allah.
📌 The greater the status and position of scholars, the heavier their responsibility.
📌 Encourage people to seek both religious and worldly knowledge.
📌 We aspire for the children of our society to pursue knowledge and contribute to Iran and the world.
📌 We need scholars and educated individuals; if a society lacks educated and knowledgeable people, its problems will not be resolved.
📌 Knowledge and learning are ladders to progress and honor, bringing people closer to God.
