Selected Remarks of Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid at the Graduation Ceremony of Students from “Darul Uloom Rahmaniya” Religious School in Nasirabad (Sarbaz County) – Wednesday, January 22, 2025
Quran
📌 The Quran is the word of Allah, filled with wisdom and knowledge.
📌 Humanity’s neglect of the vast ocean of the Quran’s wisdom and knowledge amounts to self-injustice.
📌 Though revealed 1,400 years ago, the Quran carries fresh and timeless messages for all eras until the Day of Judgment.
📌 While thousands of books are printed every hour, the Quran is uniquely radiant, serving as a source of light and guidance.
📌 The Quran states that every goodness reaching mankind is from Allah’s grace, while all evils are consequences of their actions.
📌 Humanity holds a special place in the attention of Allah.
Creation and Responsibility
📌 Allah has created the earth, mountains, sun, moon, stars, and seas, along with all nature, for the benefit of mankind. He created humanity for the grand purpose of worship and endowed them with the potential to fulfill this goal.
📌 When humans act upon their responsibilities, nature aligns in their favor. However, neglecting worship and divine purpose disrupts nature’s harmony.
📌 Today, there is imbalance in nature. Climatic changes and natural disturbances inflict severe harm on humans, such as extreme weather conditions and devastating natural disasters like California wildfires that raze lush, thriving lands.
📌 These climatic and environmental changes stem from human actions. Deviating from the natural course—guided by faith, the Quran, monotheism, the Seerah of the Prophet, and righteous ethics—leads to disruption.
Path of Seerah and Shariah
📌 Adherence to the Seerah (Prophet’s lifestyle) provides guidance and is the shortest route to closeness with Allah.
📌 The path of Sunnah and Shariah is a straight highway leading directly to divine guidance.
📌 Every Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) paves a legitimate path to Allah, while alternative paths fail to bring happiness and success.
📌 Straying from the Seerah means abandoning the highway of guidance, which is highly perilous.
Justice and Nature’s Balance
📌 Non-Muslims are often seen as deviants from the natural path, yet many of them demonstrate justice and freedom, which align with the innate human disposition (fitrah).
📌 Injustice is a deviation from fitrah, while justice adheres to it.
📌 One of the key elements of the Seerah and fitrah is tolerance.
📌 Injustice, robbery, and theft constitute major departures from the natural path.
📌 By returning to the natural course, balance is restored in nature, and lives become more harmonious.
📌 Acts like oppression against women, embezzlement of orphans’ wealth, massacres of innocents, and mass displacement are grave violations of fitrah.
Accountability for Oppressors
📌 Oppressors should never assume that Allah is unaware of their deeds. He allows them respite, but when the ordained time arrives, He will seize them.
📌 The remembrance and obedience of Allah bring peace to the world.
📌 Regrettably, today’s humanity addresses only the symptoms of problems while neglecting their root causes.
📌 A genuine search for the causes of today’s issues leads to the conclusion that oppression and violations are to blame.
📌 Through disasters and afflictions, Allah reminds humans to return to the path of fitrah and Shariah.
