Selected Statements by Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid at the Graduation Ceremony of Anwar-ul-Quran Religious School and Fatimah Al-Zahra Institution, Eyrafshan Village, Ashar District, Mehrestan County, Tuesday Morning, January 21, 2025:

Islamic Faith
🔖 Allah Almighty sent the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to warn a nation that lived in complete darkness and neglect, lacking faith, belief, proper conduct, and ethics.
🔖 At a time when there was no glimmer of light for humanity, Allah Almighty sent the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with the Quran and Islam for all mankind.
🔖 With the Prophet’s mission, Allah Almighty completed His blessings upon humanity.
🔖 Human beings have always been endowed with material and spiritual blessings, but without spiritual blessings, material blessings remain incomplete, and people will face torment after death.
🔖 Before Islam, human rights were ignored, the rights of neighbors and the oppressed were violated, and people worshiped stones, wood, idols, images, jinn, and angels. Polytheism was widespread.
🔖 Before the advent of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the world was corrupt in belief and practice, steeped in moral darkness, marked by harsh interactions, and rife with injustices, such as denying women the right to choose marriage or inheritance. Islam brought transformative guidance and enlightenment, leading people to embrace this religion.
🔖 Islam brought the light of belief and moral righteousness into society, abolished oppression, theft, and tyranny, and introduced freedom, justice, equity, and brotherhood. It elevated human dignity.
🔖 In a world plagued by injustice, Islam brought justice and equity. During an era devoid of humanity, morals, and respect for human rights, Islam introduced these values.
🔖 With the emergence of Islam, idol worshippers became monotheists, followers of a divine law, and founders of a civilization. Nations previously lifeless and unknown gained prominence, dignity, and respect globally.

The Companions
🔖 The glory of the companions (Sahabah) stems from their complete adherence to Shariah, their support for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and their defense of Islam.
🔖 The companions will be remembered as a vibrant and influential nation until the Day of Judgment.
🔖 What elevated the companions were Islam, noble ethics, lawful livelihoods, and righteous deeds.
🔖 People were inspired by the companions’ belief and morals, which led them to accept Islam.
🔖 During the Prophet’s time, the companions, having experienced disbelief, polytheism, and pre-Islamic ignorance, felt as though they were reborn.
🔖 The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) rejoiced and was reassured in his final moments upon witnessing the prayers of his companions, confident they would not revert to pre-Islamic ignorance but would continue to serve and sacrifice for Islam.

Women
🔖 After the advent of Islam, women gained recognition, pursued knowledge and piety, and rendered such services that left men feeling humbled.
🔖 Women in the early Islamic era supported the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and propagated Islam worldwide.
🔖 Women have shone in human history both before and after Islam, offering great sacrifices.

Ignorance
🔖 One of the threats to humanity is “ignorance.” The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) warned against reverting to the era of ignorance, a time marked by a lack of faith, guidance, and awareness, leading to sinful acts.
🔖 The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) referred to many sins as manifestations of ignorance.
🔖 Today’s society suffers from ignorance, with contemporary sins proving more dangerous than those of pre-Islamic times. Beware of falling into modern-day ignorance.
🔖 Breaches of trust, broken promises, adultery, tribal conflicts, unjust killings, oppression, kidnapping, and hostage-taking are manifestations of ignorance.
🔖 Allah warns that if people turn away from His path towards ignorance and disobedience, He will replace them with a nation possessing good qualities.
🔖 We should adopt the virtues of other nations, cultures, and societies while rejecting their flaws.
🔖 Avoid all acts contrary to reason, logic, and religion, whether from modern or pre-Islamic ignorance.

Addiction
🔖 “Addiction” is one of humanity’s greatest threats, and in my view, it is even more dangerous than “murder.”
🔖 Cultivation of opium and drug trafficking are detrimental to society.
🔖 Do not provide drugs even to non-Muslims, as it harms everyone alike.

Quran
🔖 Following the Quran and the Prophet’s Seerah is the only path to humanity’s salvation.
🔖 The Quran is the greatest book of guidance, bringing enlightenment to society.
🔖 Let us recite the Quran and spread its message.
🔖 The polytheists of Mecca were never as sensitive to anything as they were to the Quran, recognizing its magnetic appeal to hearts. For this reason, they called the Quran “sorcery” and the Prophet “a sorcerer.”
🔖 The Quran is a lamp of guidance and a beacon for humanity’s salvation.

Knowledge
🔖 No blessing in the world is greater than knowledge and faith.
🔖 Faith and knowledge are essential for human life and advancement.
🔖 Encourage your children to pursue knowledge.
🔖 While worldly possessions are fleeting and subject to loss, knowledge and the Quran, if acted upon, bring enduring benefits in this life and intercession in the hereafter.

Worship and Morality
🔖 Humanity today is neglecting its true purpose, which is to worship Allah, serve Him, and honor the dignity of fellow humans.
🔖 Let us live with respect, dignity, and human honor, which are achieved through knowledge, recognition of Allah, and faith.
🔖 We must protect and uphold the values of faith, morality, the Quran, and the Seerah of the Prophet.
🔖 Be among the awakened nations and live with awareness.
🔖 Support religious and public schools and the Tablighi Jamaat, which are sources of pride and honor.
🔖 Perform good deeds, and let us serve as messengers of faith and goodness to the world.

Security
🔖 Security must be preserved, for insecurity benefits no one.
🔖 Insecurity brings about problems and harms everyone.
🔖 Our advice to all is to refrain from actions causing insecurity, such as murder and theft.
🔖 Theft, adultery, murder, and corruption are acts of ignorance and destroy faith.
