Selected Statements of Shaikh ul Islam Mawlana Abdol Hamid Addressed to the People of the Sistan Region at the Grand Mosque of “Dost-Mohammad,” Hirmand County Center / Wednesday Evening, December 11, 2024:
Divine Gatherings
📌 Any gathering held with the intention of remembering and mentioning Allah is showered with divine mercy and tranquility, and Allah is pleased with those attending such assemblies.
📌 In this gathering, praise be to Allah, scholars and elders of Sistan, who are close to the people, are present.
📌 A scholar, official, or elder who stands beside and with the people, thinking about their welfare, is a blessing and mercy from the Lord.
📌 It is the duty of all of us to hold a positive opinion of believers and scholars, be self-critical, and strive for self-reformation.
The Quran
📌 Allah Almighty has granted Muslims a blessing and treasure unmatched by any other nation.
📌 Nations pride themselves on knowledge, wealth, technology, urban development, lush forests, and seas, but all these assets pale in comparison to the treasure of the Quran, which Allah has granted to Muslims.
📌 The Quran is the word of Allah; every letter, word, and meaning of this book originates from Allah Almighty.
📌 The name of the Quran is Kalam Allah (the Word of Allah); Allah conveyed His messages to humankind in the form of the Quran.
📌 Allah has taught us lessons and knowledge through the Quran that the world, despite its population, capabilities, wealth, and universities, cannot replicate even one chapter of it.
📌 The world has created computers, atomic bombs, artificial intelligence, and advanced industries, but they have failed to produce anything like the Quran.
📌 The Quran consists of 114 chapters, and the world cannot even create a single chapter similar to those in the Quran.
📌 Poets at the time of the Quran’s revelation possessed such eloquence that their expressions left audiences spellbound, yet the Quran, with its unmatched eloquence, rhetoric, and harmonious expressions, surpassed them all.
📌 The Quran is a miracle for every century and every age, and it will remain a miracle until the Day of Judgment.
📌 The lessons of the Quran are unique and beautiful.
📌 The Quran is an immense treasure and an intercessor on the Day of Judgment.
📌 The Quran is a book that builds character and serves as a guide for purification and education.
📌 Given the existence of this book, why should the Muslim nation remain unsuccessful or lag behind other nations?!
📌 The cultural and political shortcomings of Islamic societies and Muslims stem from their distancing from the Quran and failure to act upon its teachings.
📌 The Quran equips individuals with faith, morals, and worship, nurturing their capabilities—lessons and sophistication that are not found in any university in the world.
📌 Had Muslims adhered to the Quran’s teachings, they would not have been marginalized in today’s global political and other matters.
📌 The Quran transformed the Companions of the Prophet to such an extent that civilizations like Iran and Rome, with their rich heritage and culture, acknowledged the superiority of what Muslims possessed. Their faith, actions, morals, humanity, and dignity influenced them to embrace Islam.
📌 The Quran broadens minds, elevates both men and women, and teaches them modesty and chastity.
📌 If you desire growth and for the world to listen to you, turn to the Quran, become its messenger, and a savior for the world.
📌 Each letter recited from the Quran earns ten rewards, and acting upon its teachings brings additional rewards.
📌 Reflect on the Quran and benefit from its guidance.
📌 The Quran guides us toward interaction, tolerance, and good morals.
Justice and Equity
📌 A person must act justly not only in friendship but also in enmity; if you are hostile toward someone, you have no right to insult or accuse them falsely.
📌 A Muslim must always behave justly.
📌 No one should falsely accuse others of being smugglers, drug dealers, foreign nationals, or members of hostile groups; such acts are injustices.
📌 Even during hatred or hostility, “justice and equity” should be the standard. A truly fair person maintains fairness even in enmity.
📌 Unfortunately, false reports have been filed against many Iranian natives whose fathers sacrificed their lives for this land, claiming their identity documents are forged. Based on such reports, their identity documents have been confiscated and invalidated.
📌 A harmful cultural practice exists in the province: when two people have animosity, they level the harshest accusations against one another, reflecting a lack of adherence to the Quranic teachings.
📌 The Quran instructs that enmity toward opponents should not lead you to abandon justice.
📌 Justice and equity are requirements of piety.
📌 The Quran states that even if one’s parents are wrong, supporting them is not permissible. Instead, one must support truth, honesty, trustworthiness, and justice.
📌 We must act upon the teachings and lessons of the Quran, which are essentially the teachings of all prophets.
📌 If Muslims adhered to the teachings of the Quran and the Prophet, they would become allies of Allah, capable of managing the world, resolving global problems, and guiding humanity onto the right path.
📌 Ethics, conduct, and fairness have profound impacts; Islam spread through the good character and deeds of Muslims, not through the sword. The sword was used only when obstacles existed.
📌 If humanity today follows the character and way of life of the Prophet (PBUH), the perfect role model, they can overcome their crises.
📌 At present, spouses and children struggle with conflicts and fail to cooperate with one another because we do not obey Allah.
📌 Today’s Muslims are plagued by bribery, theft, financial corruption, injustice, and various wrongdoings.
People and Officials
📌 Officials and the nation have mutual rights and responsibilities toward each other.
📌 All the time of officials belongs to the people, and those with issues must be able to access them anytime. Officials must not isolate themselves in places inaccessible to the public.
📌 Some cleverly misuse public funds and budgets for personal gain, whereas these resources belong to the people and should be used for their benefit.
📌 Officials, the new government, and the native governor of Sistan and Baluchestan must pay attention to the noble and virtuous people of Sistan.
Unity and Security
📌 We recommend everyone put aside differences and live together harmoniously.
📌 Praise be to Allah, the people of this region show kindness and affection toward one another.
📌 Security must be maintained, and anything harmful to the nation or forbidden by Sharia should not enter the country.
📌 In our personal and social lives, there should be no falsehood or discrimination.
📌 Strengthening brotherhood requires the implementation of justice.
