✳️ Excerpts from Shaikh ul-Islam Mawlana Abdolhamid’s Speech at the Ceremony Honoring the Memorization of the Holy Quran at Mohammad Rasoul Allah Religious School and the Graduates of Hazrat Aisha’s Women’s Maktab in Cheshmeh Ziarat, Zahedan / Friday Evening, 2nd Azar 1403:

The Instability of the World

📌 “We are travelers in this world; our true homeland is not here. The past generations have gone, and now it is our turn. This world is ours only as long as we are alive. Death nullifies our ownership and takes away our wealth and lands from us.”
📌 “This world is fleeting; with every passing day and year, we move closer to the end of our lives. Even though we see the deaths of our loved ones, we do not believe that one day we too must leave this world.”
📌 “This world is not a place to stay; we are here to fulfill temporary needs and prepare for the afterlife.”

Heaven and Hell

📌 “Heaven can be built with good deeds: if we do bad, we will see bad, and if we do good, we will see good. The punishment of this world is limited, but the punishment of the afterlife is severe and infinite.”
📌 “All the beauties of Heaven are the result of your good deeds: prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, and serving creation, even helping animals like giving water to a cat, will lead you to Heaven.”
📌 “Heaven is the reward for kindness, justice, and fairness. If you treat your children and subordinates justly, you will earn the satisfaction of the Lord.”
📌 “The life of this world is not for amassing wealth; we are here to worship God, win the hearts of people, and help the needy.”
📌 “Death and Hell are not far away. Your good deeds will lead you to Heaven, and your sins will lead you to Hell. Struggling against your own desires and avoiding sins is the path of the prophets and of God.”

The Importance of Religion

📌 “A religious person is one who implements all of religion in their life. This world is a test that should not distract us from God and the Quran.”
📌 “Religion teaches correct belief and behavior and guides us to salvation.”
📌 “We must have religion and preserve it, and act according to religious rulings.”

The Quran

📌 “The Quran is the word of the Lord and the greatest book that revives hearts and transforms humans. The companions reached a high status through the blessing of the Quran and were repeatedly praised in it.”
📌 “The Quran is the book of faith and morals, guiding people to a beautiful life and correct behavior.”
📌 “If the Quran is brought into society, the society will prosper, and people will enjoy living in it.”
📌 “Women have surpassed men in learning the Quran; men must also strive in this path. The Quran is not only the book of Muslims but was sent for the guidance of all humanity.”

Prayer

📌 “Prayer is the most important goal in life and meeting with God. This worship must be done with calmness and humility, not hastily. Bowing and prostration are moments of closeness to God.”
📌 “Prayer has a deep impact on behavior; profanity, breach of promises, misdeeds, theft, kidnapping, torture, cursing, and insults are in contradiction with the spirit of prayer.”
📌 “Prayer is a struggle against the soul and Satan, and it is the greatest treasure a person can have.”
📌 “The land of Cheshmeh Ziarat was dedicated for the mosque, and Friday prayers began there. Efforts should be made to build the Jameh Mosque of Cheshmeh Ziarat, as a mosque is the house of God and reflects our dignity and identity. It is fitting that the house of God should be built better and more beautifully than our homes.”

Justice

📌 “Life in this world only has value as long as people speak with fairness and support the oppressed.”
📌 “Speaking the truth and impartially, gains God’s satisfaction and leads the servants to Heaven.”
📌 “Family biases should not prevent support for truth and justice. Solidarity and unity lead society to success.”
📌 “In this world, there are always those who speak the truth and support justice, just as Prophet Moses stood against Pharaoh and spoke the truth.”
📌 “Sometimes, Allah is pleased by one word, and with one word, He forgives His servant.”

Science and Knowledge

📌 “Religious knowledge and modern knowledge are both pillars of progress. Modern science builds the world, and religious knowledge leads humanity and society toward perfection.”
📌 “Do not let your children stray down the wrong paths. The future belongs to those who have knowledge.”

Inheritance

📌 “Inheritance should be divided properly. The rights of women and children in inheritance should not be violated. The wealth of this world is so worthless that it should not lead one to suffering.”

Magic and Harm

📌 “Magic and causing harm to others leads to destruction. Sins and evils are tools of God’s test, and we must avoid them.”
