In a letter, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader congratulated the president-elect Ebrahim Raisi who has won the 13th term of presidential election of Iran.
The letter states: “I hope you will successfully serve the people of Iran in the implementation of constitution and in meeting the public demands”.
The Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan added more: “I wish you success in fulfilling the demands of the ethnic and religious communities that guarantee national unity and lasting security”.
It is noteworthy that Ebrahim Raisi was supported by a Sunni strategic council established by Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, the most influential Iranian Sunni leader.
