Shaikh Abdol-Hamid advised and emphasized on observance of Ramadan’s practices through the year and urged on perseverance on Shari’ah.
The Friday Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan said: “Allah has commanded the believers to persevere in worshiping Him until the last moment of the life”.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid continued: “When the Holy Prophet PBUH started a Salah and doing a good deed, he did it forever”.
“Always live according to God’s commands, please Allah, start life in the name of God and end it in the name of God”, said the president of Darululoom Zahedan.
“Ramadan was a great blessing and a special period to worship Allah. It was the month of struggle and purification, but the teachings of Islam are forever. We should be adhere in worshiping Allah for the rest of our lives”, said the prominent Sunni scholar of Iran.
He added: “Mujahadah/struggle against the desire of the soul is not less than jihad against aggressive enemies; many people die in bed and receive the reward of a martyr”.
“Do not act contrary to Islamic law. A true Mujahid is the one who makes jihad against the desire of the soul”, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said.
“Sin is harmful for mankind. It is stated in the Hadith that the real immigrant is the one who leaves sin. A true Muslim never hurts others with his hands and tongue”, president of Darululoom Zahedan said.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid emphasized on taking care of good deeds after Ramadan and said: “After Ramadan, don’t cut off giving alms and dawn prayers that you did during Ramadan”.
“Ramadan practices are the achievements of our lives. Keep them after Ramadan”, he urged.
Reforming society is an inherent duty of every Muslim
In another part of his speech, the Friday Khateeb of Zahedan emphasized on reforming the society and described it as an important duty of each and every Muslim and said: “Don’t think that the reform of the society isn’t only the duty of scholars and preachers; Allah Almighty has obligated the every Muslim to enjoin what is good and forbid the evil.”
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on self-sufficiency and on reforming the society and considered it essential for the society.
Killing a child in Iranshahr mad all of us worried
In the last part of his Friday sermon, the most influential Iranian Sunni scholar expressed his concerns on killing a child in Iranian Baluchistan, Iranshahr County by security forces.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called the killing of innocent people harmful and advised the police officers to be more careful and cautious in the shootings.
President of Darululoom Zahedan stated: “What happened in Iranshahr was very painful and suffering. This incident was very tragic for all of us, especially for the parents of this child”.
“Maysam Narui”, almost a 5 years old Baloch child, was shot dead by security forces in the suburb of Iranshahr city when he was traveling along with his parent from village to the city on May 10, 2021. The judiciary officials confirmed the report and informed media that the policemen who opened fire on the car and killed the child have been detained.
“The killing of innocents is condemned, whether it’s by ordinary people or by military forces who are responsible to protect the lives and property of people”, said the Friday prayer leader of Sunnis in Zahedan.
“If a security man is killed by an ordinary person or an innocent person is killed by police, both are bad and have dangerous consequences in this world and in the Hereafter”, the eminent Sunni scholar of Sistan-Baluchistan said.
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his sympathy and condolences with the family and friends of the late and asked Allah for reward for his parents.
The Iranian most influential Sunni leader further called on the armed forces to be more careful about pursuing smugglers’ vehicles saying that if a suspected smuggler can run away, it is better than killing innocent people.
At the end, president of Darululoom Zahedan condemned Israel’s brutal attacks on Gaza of Palestine and asked Allah Almighty for the victory of the oppressed Palestinian Muslims.
He expressed hope that the international community and the world powers will resolve the Palestinian issue so that the occupied territories of Palestine are liberated.”
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid also called for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
