Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said in Friday prayer speech of November 8, 2019 that Rabi ul-Awwal is the month of the most remarkable event of the birth of the Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, and said that he called the whole world to fraternity, unity and justice.
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said that the event of Holy prophet’s birth happened when the Arabian Peninsula and the entire world were drowned in darkness of ignorance, oppression, unrest, injustice, paganism, worshiping idols and superstitions.
“The Holy prophet’s birth was a great mercy from Allah to the world. Before the dispatch of Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, human’s rights used to be violated and the world was involved in misguiding, immorality, corruption and killing innocents. 360 Idols were placed and worshiped in Ka’ba”, he added more.
President of Darululoom Zahedan said that under such circumstances people needed a guidance to take them out of deep darkness of polytheism into the light of Islam.
The Iranian Sunni leader said: “The last messenger of Allah was appointed as a prophet at the time when all divine religions were waiting for him; they had predicted that the prophet would come at the same time.”
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said that the Holy prophet’s birth and his migration were great mercies from Allah.
“The Holy prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came with an outstanding achievement of Da’wah and monotheism; all prophets shared the idea of belief in existence of the One God; “وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ الرَّحِيم” and your Allah is one Allah; there is no God but He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.”
He further said: “Belief of Tawhid is the fundamental basis of Islam that no good deeds will be accepted in the Day of Judgment without the belief of oneness of Allah”.
Islam shows the practical ways of positive behavior
Khateeb of Sunnis went on to say more: “The Holy prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: “إنما بعثت لأتمم مكارم الأخلاق”; I have been sent to perfect good character. The words of the Last Messenger were meaningful; he taught us lessons of moral and goodness and showed us the practical ways of positive behavior.”
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid said that Islam commands a peaceful life, encourages justice and exhorts sympathy in both sadness and happiness.
“Islam is a perfect and universal religion that encompasses all sections of society; it includes political, economic and cultural sectors”, he added more.
President of Darululoom Zahedan said that Allah revealed the Holy Qur’an to the prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, as a mercy for Muslims and non-Muslims for human and Jinn all over the globe.
He said: “Many cultures are based on the teachings of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah; I wish that the world will live according to the perfect life of Holy prophet peace be upon him; the world for its existence needs the prophet’s teachings and instructions.”
“Islam has largely eliminated differences between tribes and nations; ended the oppression of the the Roman and Persian powers; resolved disputes between Aws and Khazraj tribes in Madinah and provided justice and self-devotion among Sahabah”, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid urged.
He continued saying: “Sahabah’s love and self-devotion were based on Islam’s justice due to their strong faith and belief in Allah.”
The Holy prophet emphasized on women and slaves’ rights
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid further said: “Islam respects due rights of women, slaves and disables; it fought tyrants and stood up to oppressors who denied diplomatic negotiations.”
He said that Islam directs good manners to those who avoid oppression and pursues peace and equality.
Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid expressed his hope that Muslims would change their lives by following the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
