Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan called on the audience to make serious efforts in producing Halal jobs and earning legal livelihood.

He said in his speech of 14th Dec. 2018: “Allah Almighty guides human beings to the straight path and the way of prosperity in the both worlds.”

“The cleanest group of preachers and guides and the closest to Allah, prophet, peace be upon them, have been addressed by the Almighty: “Messengers, eat what is wholesome and do good deeds: I am well aware of what you do.” [Mu’minun: 51], Shaikh Abdol-Hamid further said.”

He added more: “Allah has created human beings in such a way that Halal livelihood is suitable with them. Halal livelihood is effective in health and paves the way for good deeds and worshiping Allah.”

“In the 51st verse of Mu’minun seeking Halal food is prior to good deeds. So we should examine our foods and income to save ourselves from illegal and Haram. There should not be usury and rights of others; Haram income destroys all livelihood,” president of Darululoom Zahedan pointed out.

He called on producing jobs for others and said: “For holding healthy sprit and body, there should be any correct and healthy profession.”

“Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, used to encourage for creating jobs and working. When he migrated to Madinah, agriculture, business and animal husbandry were developed. We should take lesson from this part of Seerah,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid added more.

He concluded his points by saying: “No one should be ashamed of his job which saves him from Haram and illegal income. Allah loves lively and strong people. So work hard, earn Halal and encourage others to work, too.”

Closure of Borders in Current Economic Situation Unjustified
In the second part of his sermon, the eminent Iranian Sunni scholar pointed out to the economic sanctions on the country and new economic problems of people and termed closure of borders “unjustified” in the current situation.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said: “It is irrational to maintain the closure of borders and trade points while people have been suffering from massive economic crises. The common borders should be open in order to ease the way for people to exchange goods and earn something for their livelihood.”

The most influential Iranian Sunni leader criticized some particular state offices and said: “Some trades at borders such as marketing fuel and the rest of markets should not be monopoly of state-run offices and organizations; rather common people should carry out such trades to earn and manage their lives.”

“We have been emphasizing that authorities should meditate for people’s economy and producing jobs for them. Law enforcers should avoid from unnecessary stringency and keep in mind the critical circumstances of people. They must pave the way for earning of people through legal channels,” he added more.

President of Darululoom Zahedan, the biggest Islamic seminary of the Sunnis in Iran, said: “Sistan-Baluchistan has been suffering from drought and low water; despite it some farmers are busy who need to be supported by officials and extend their farming; they can earn for themselves and produce jobs for others, too.”

Young need to learn professions and vocations
In another part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid addressed people and advised them to adopt “legal jobs” and earn “Halal income”. He said: “Whoever has any talent and capacity in any field, s/he should produce jobs for others and encourage people to earn by legal and Halal channels and methods. Women can market handicrafts and earn, too.”

He further said: “Technical and Vocational Training Organization has been active in the country and our province, too. It carries out an important duty in training young and equipping them with vocational techniques. Male and female young should take advantage of this opportunity and get rid of unemployment.”
