The eminent Islamic scholar of Iran expressed his deep sorrow on the passing of Shaikh Mohsen Motamed, the Amir of Tablighi Jamaa’t in the southern part of Iran.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, the president of Darululoom Zahedan, published his condolence message.
Shaikh Mohsen Motamed was a famous scholar and preacher in southern region of Iran where a big number of Sunnis live. He passed away after suffering from brain stroke.
It has come in the message: “Undoubtedly, passing of Ulama and preachers of the religion is a big loss for Islamic society.”
“Shaikh Mohsen was one of the prominent activists and preachers who spent his life in serving Islam and calling people towards the right path, especially in the southern region of Iran,” he added more in his message.
The Friday imam of Sunnis in Zahedan expressed his deep sorrow on the passing of Shaikh Mohsen praying to Allah for the forgiveness of Shaikh Mohsen and patience of his family members and relatives.
