Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his sorrow on the passing of Mawlana Gholam Ahmad Alibai, one of the prominent Islamic scholars of the Sunni community in Khorasan region of Iran.
The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid posted his condolence message.
He said in his message: “The passing of Mawlana Gholam Ahmad Alibai made me sorrowful and concerned. He was the one who devoted his life for propagating Islamic knowledge and culture. Hundreds of his students have been serving Islam, people and society.”
“The active and reputable seminaries of “Anwarululoom Khairabad” and “Darululoom Islami Rizeh” were founded by him. Demise of such spiritual fathers is a big loss for the society,” president of Darululoom Zahedan further said.
At the end of his message, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid expressed his sympathy with the people of Khorasan, especially respectable Ulama and children of late Mawlana Alibai.
