Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on the revival of the esprit of helping one another in good deeds, terming it one of the important commands of Islam.

The official website of Shaikh Abdol-Hamid quoted his Friday sermon of 20th Oct. 2017 in Zahedan, Iran, where he said: “Islam as the last and most perfect divine religion encompasses all parts of human life. All civilizations and cultures in the world have some problems and shortages, but Islam is free of any kind of inadequacy and fault.”

“Islam goes on the straight path of sobriety. Its root is in the revelation; there is no possibility of mistake and fault in the revelation from Allah. If anyone thinks the revelation may encompass mistake and fault, his mind suffers from shortfall,” he added more.

Khateeb and Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan pointed out to the importance of ‘helping one another in the righteous deeds’ and said: “It is one of the directions of Islam to its followers to cooperate with each other in the good deeds and piety. In the same time they should not help one another in sin and transgression. Allah Almighty has clearly ordered us to help one another in righteousness and piety and do not help one another in sin and injustice [5:2].”

“Unfortunately many people nowadays help one another in injustice and transgression and looting wealth of nations; all of these acts are the examples of ‘helping one another in sin’. Cooperating with the people who steal, rob, kill, drink and violate people’s rights is Haram and a sin,” Mawlana Abdol-Hamid further said.

He said: “There are many elements who help the aggressor powers to bomb on people and fire missiles on innocents; such elements are abettors of the occupying powers. Abetting in any crime and sin is a crime itself. Many people are not direct killers, but they are abettors in killing.”

The president and rector of Darululoom Zahedan alluded to some examples of ‘cooperation in good deeds’ and said: “In the good acts and rewardable deeds take part and help one another; such as: helping families of prisoners, building mosques, schools, hospitals, and nourishing orphans, cooperating in the fields of healthcare and treatment of sick people, development of cities, maintaining peace and order in cities and country.”

“Regrettably many of people avoid from helping one another in good deeds and kinship has been broken. The esprit of cooperation in good act has been weakened in the society. It is the result of avoiding from the teachings of Islam. We should revive the esprit of maintaining relations with relatives and helping others in the society,” he concluded his points.

In another part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on traders and shopkeepers to take care of justice in their deals. He said: “Injustice is forbidden in all works, especially in trades. Injustice in transactions and deals steals blessings of aliment.”

Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlana Husseinpour
The eminent Islamic scholar of the Iranian Sunni community alluded to the personality of late Mawlana Husseinpour and said: “The passing of Mawlana Mohammad Yousuf Husseinpour, may Allah have mercy on him, was a big loss. He was a unique and elevated person.”

“Mawlana Mohammad Yousuf was an example in piety, humbleness and simple-living. He was the teacher of scholars and trained thousands of scholars. His passing made the duty of Ulama heavier. May Allah elevate his status redress this loss for the society,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said.
