Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on traders and businessmen to earn Halal livelihood and respect the Islamic rulings in their deals.
Talking to the worshipers gathered for the Friday prayers in Zahedan on Jan. 13, 2017, Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan said: “Islam is the best sober guide of mankind in all aspects of life. Apart from tenets, it has guidelines for the affairs related to trades and social life.”
“Constituting workable rulings and regulations for trade, agriculture, industry and the rest of areas, Islam has directed people by the Noble Qur’an and Sunnah. The perfect religion of Islam has urged on Halal income and livelihood. The prophet PBUH has termed it necessary obligatory and worships,” he said more.
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan made it clear: “Unfortunately, today there are many illegal bargains in markets, while incomes of such deals are outlawed and dislikeable. We are supposed to earn Halal and provide the ones we sponsor Halal and legal livelihood.”
“Seeking for Halal income is a worship itself. Those who seek livelihood by trade, agriculture, industry, sewing and etc. and earn through legal channels of earning money, in fact they worship Allah,” Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.
He added more: “Giving the children and feeding others by Halal income would be a Sadaqa/donation for the person. While feeding them Haram and illegal stuff is a sin and s/he would be tried for it.”
“There are many virtues for businessmen who respect the rulings of Shari’ah. According to Hadith, such pious traders would be resurrected along with prophets. A trader should not hide any defect of his merchandises and stuff. When the person sell out anything with lies and fraud, there will not remain any blessings in his livelihood and income,” Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid pointed out.
Concluding his points, the Friday Imam of Zahedan called on people to work hard for earning money and decried asking others for money as it is a bad and disrepute habit according to Shari’ah.

In another part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid alluded to the death of the ex-Iranian president, Ayatollah Rafsanjani and said: “Changes in mind and opinions of late Ayatollah Rafsanjani made him popular and loveable for the Iranian nation.”

“Mr. Rafsanjani believed Iran belongs to all Iranians without any discrimination. All Iranians should get their due and equal rights with legal liberties. Therefore his popularity was increased among the people,” he added more.
