Alluding to the importance of the last breaths, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid termed ‘strong faith’ and ‘good deeds’ from the factors which make the end of people good.

The Friday imam of Sunnis in Zahedan said in his sermon of April 8, 2016 in the southeastern city of Zahedan, “The prophets and all saints used to pray to Allah for their good end. Death with faith saves the person from the divine anger. A sagacious person always wishes to leave this world with faith and good deeds.”

“A real believer wishes to meet the Almighty and has no fear of death. The believers strive to make their endless life good by their deeds and good faith; there are not afraid of dying as death is the bridge to make them closer to their Only Lord. There are many people who claim to love the Almighty but with no good deeds,” the rector of Darululoom Zahedan added more.

Decrying misdeeds and sins, he said, “Misdeeds pollute the inner side of mankind. Hearts of such people would be corrupted. Heart is the chief of all body parts. So by good deeds and moral heart should be protected from corruption.”

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid counted ‘Ehsan’ one of the strengthening factors for faith and said, “Ehsan should be considered in worships. Ehsan means purity and attendance of the heart. Allah says: ‘And whose way of life could be better than that of he who submits his whole being to Allah, does good,’ [4: 125] According to a Hadith, worship Allah as you see Him, if you cannot see Him, He sees you. All worships should be carried out just for the pleasure of Allah Almighty. Duplicity is one of the most dangerous and worst sins that ruins the heart.”

He concluded his points by saying, “Dress in the cloth of piety and Taqwa. Donate in the path of the Almighty that has positive influence in the good end. Allah loves generous people.”

Sacrifice of Khashi teacher admirable
The chairman of the Coordination Council of the Sunni Seminaries in Sistan-Baluchistan expressed his views on the death of a teacher in Khash district of the Iranian Baluchistan who sacrificed to save his students from a falling wall and said, “The incident which took place in Khash where a teacher saved his students from a falling wall got a national coverage; the president and minister of education applauded him and his colleague who was injured in the incident. A Hadith suggests that a person who loses his life under a falling wall is a martyr.

In the last part of his speech, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his deep concerns on a murder case in Khash city, saying, “It is really regrettable that people are not safe even in Masjid. In the last Friday, some gunmen opened fire on a local resident in Khash inside a grand mosque. It is shameful and hateful that people do not take care of the sanctity of mosques.
