Criticizing the UN and superpowers for their inability in the resolving of the Middle East crises, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said on Friday 9th Oct. 2015 in Zahedan, “The US and Russia are never the sympathetic of Muslims in the world”.

“Their military assaults on Muslim countries intensify crises and tensions in the region” he more urged.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan described the current situations of Muslims “disappointing” and said, “Circumstances and pests dominated on world are disappointing, particularly in the Muslim countries. There is a very weak hope that the heads of states sit together or set a working formula to solve the crises. However, the only way out of the crises still is that the politicians and elites of these countries, despite their differences, sit together and resolve their problems through dialogue and negotiation”.

He underlined, “Certainly, military attacks and interference by foreign powers never can be a solution for the crises in Muslim countries. But military air strikes cause more destruction and damages for the Muslim world; it increases disputes and gaps too. America, Russia and other arrogant powers are never sympathetic for Muslims; they do not fight for the interests of the region. If these powers really would be sympathetic for humanity, it would have been very easy for them to solve the problems of the Middle East especially according to the ability they have”.

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan underlined, “If there were a sound thinking in the UN, it could had found the remedy to solve the existing problems through the formation of national and pervasive governments which could represent the majority of people in each country. Unfortunately, the UN and the arrogant powers do not look for solutions, but all follow their own interests. They may kill millions of people just to meet their interests. It is dreadfully painful that so many innocent and defenseless people are being massacred by bombings and during conflicts”.

Finally, he expressed his hope that Muslims and the heads of Muslim countries may think with foresight and remission about interests of Islam and all Muslims, they must think about protection of Islam itself rather than following their own ethnic and religious interests.

Education is the base for the advancement in any society
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid called the education as “the infrastructure for advancement” and said, “The mission of those who are active in education field is extremely important. Education is a basis for development advancement”.

“Perhaps no issue in the country, especially in Sistan-Baluchistan province, would be more important than the issue of education. In a society where education has no importance, there is not anything. On the other hand, in a society where the ground for education is provided, the field for every progress will be available”.

Friday Imam of Sunnis in Zahedan further said, “Comparing to other provinces of Iran, the educational problems in Sistan-Baluchistan are much high and serious. Due to dispersion of the region, illiteracy and high dropout, there are doubled problems which make the task of the education department more serious and require the strenuous efforts of them”.

Sunni jurisprudence should be taught in schools
The chairman of coordination council of Sunni seminaries in Sistan-Baluchistan province during his lecture insisted on the “teaching of Sunni jurisprudence” in public schools and said, “According to laws of the Islamic Republic and principle of unity, the jurisprudence of Shia and Sunni schools of thought should be instructed to followers of each sect in public schools”.

He stated, “According to reports, the Sunni jurisprudence is fading in schools. Although it might has been taught in some schools but by teachers who do not have required ability in this field. In my opinion, Shiite jurisprudence should be taught by Shia teachers and Sunnis jurisprudence should be taught by Sunni teachers”.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid underlined, “We ask the education office in the province and country to take care of Sunnis jurisprudence, because it is the legal right of our children that they will be familiar with Islamic jurisprudence”.

Teachers should observe justice and piety in giving marks
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan more recommended the teachers on “consideration of justice in giving marks to students” and said, “Some teachers have informed us that some school principals, especially in suburb of Zahedan city, just pass students and give them more marks. It is to increasing percentage of passing students. It is contrary to piety as it is forbidden according to Shariah”.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid concluded his points by calling on teachers to be just and fair in such cases and avoid from destroying the future of students and society.
