The outstanding Iranian Sunni scholar, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid Isma’eelzahi, has expressed his deep concerns over the painful murder of a woman in Kabul in the last week.

Talking to a correspondent of SunniOnline exclusively, Khateeb of Sunnis said, “The incident of killing a young woman by an angry mob and burning her body was very shocking, painful and regretful.”

“It is worthy that Muslims should be careful and discreet always to not go to extremes violating the Islamic commands. Rumors must not jeopardy soul and honor of others,” he added more.

Alluding to some ambiguities of the incident, the rector of Darululoom Zahedan, the biggest Islamic Sunni seminary in Iran, told our correspondent, “The government of Afghanistan is responsible to conduct an impartial investigation to find facts and try the main elements behind the murder after identifying them. However, the way this woman had been treated and murdered is not justifiable in any case; it has no place in Islamic Shari’ah.”

According to media reports, Farkhondeh, a young Afghan woman, was lynched, killed and burnt by a mob in central Kabul on Wednesday, 18 March, 2015.
