Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his deep concerns over the spread of lie, accusation and incrimination in the society and said, “Islam forbids telling lie and accusation in strong words.”

Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan began his speech of April 25, 2014 by the Noble Qur’anic verse: «يَعْلَمُ خَائِنَةَ الْأَعْيُنِ وَمَا تُخْفِي الصُّدُورُ», (He knows the treachery of the eyes and whatever is concealed by hearts.); [40: 19]

He said, “The important issue which has been neglected by most of people is that they think the Almighty created the world and then left it without any control and watch on its inhabitants. While the Noble Qur’an urges that Allah is not unaware of what we do; He has a watch on all. He is closer to us than our own selves. He sees our all movements and even knows our thoughts. Some people act as there will not be any trial and accountability, but Allah says: «فمن یعمل مثقال ذرة ‌خیرا یره و من یعمل مثقال ذرة شرا یره», (So, whoever does any good act (even) to the weight of a particle will see it. And whoever does evil (even) to the weight of a particle will see it.); [99: 7-8].”

“The root cause of all misdeeds and sins is the wrong conception of people who think Allah Almighty would not account them. Sometimes, Satan encourages people to commit sins by deception that Allah is All-Forgiving and Kind,” he added more.

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan mentioned ‘telling lie and accusation’ as the prevailed misdeeds of this era in different societies and said, “Unfortunately, telling lie and accusing others have been very common in the society. People incriminate each other easily. Political wings and parties blame on each other. It is one of the worst sins.”

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid further said, “False reports, news and wave of incriminations can be seen in media sources, specially printed journals, satellite TV channels and internet widely. Some elements do not want to see the facts while some others just want to incriminate their opponents. Some people tell lie and hide their treachery against others in hearts, they think Allah does not see them. In fact, such people are negligent about Allah. He will account all of those who tell lie, incriminate, accuse and envy on the Judgment Day.”

He shed light more on the topic and said, “The Sublime says: «يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا*يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَمَن يُطِعْ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا», (O you who believe, fear Allah, and speak in straightforward words. If you do so,) Allah will correct your deeds for your benefit, and forgive your sins for you. Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger achieves a great success.); [33: 70-71]. Islam teaches mankind to be truthful and just; even if the true words are against the interests of the speaker. Islam forbids its followers to speak out anything which creates discord and dispute. Truthful people get the mercy and forgiveness of Allah.”

The prominent Sunni scholar underlined, “Islam urges to not incriminate and accuse even disbelievers and atheists. Even, while talking about enemies like Israel and others we should not neglect this rule. Muslims should not forget justice in any case; our body parts will speak and confess what we have done. Our all words and acts are being recorded by angels. The politicians of the world must not forget the Resurrection Day when they will be questioned over their all deeds and words.”

He concluded his points in this part of the sermon by saying Islam opposed incrimination and lie strongly. Islamic morals have been neglected in many Muslim states. The biggest development is advancement in moral issues.

Unity, solidarity must be protected always
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, condemned assassination of two government employees in the southern part of Balochistan in Iran calling the incidents ‘bitter’ and ‘shocking’.

Talking to the Sunni worshippers in Zahedan he asked the pertinent officials, people and social elders to enhance their vigilance over such terror acts. He said, “It should be clear who is behind the recent wave of assassinations? Who wants to destabilize security in the province when we observe a much better cooperation among different communities in Sistan-Baluchistan?”

Khateeb of Sunnis further said, “The terror incidents are taking place while the president and his cabinet visited the province recently; there is a unique opportunity for development of the province. Instability damages the province, unity and adhesion of the people. We should protect the unity and correlation of masses.”

Pointing out to the recent productive trip of the Iranian president to Sistan-Baluchistan, the rector of Darululoom Zahedan stated, “Some double agents inside the country want to create enmity and discords. Particularly after the trip of Dr. Rouhani and positive signs of development and implementation of justice in the province, some elements exaggerate in conveying the events and highlight insecurity incidents; if there is a bullet fired, they show it as a bomb blast. Thus we need to be more vigilant.”

The eminent Sunni leader called on the people of Sistan-Baluchistan to give up their tribal disputes as it is the root of some insecurity incidents. “Killing is a big crime; if there is any difference between two persons or groups, they should resolve the matter by legal ways. We decry all kinds of murders. We want the related officials to follow up and made clear the suspicious murders in the province uncovering the culprits,” he added more.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid underlined, “We have domestic and foreign enemies; all should be careful over undercover enemies. We should try to dissolve the plots of these people gently. I hope we will get success and there would be peace and calm in the region.”

In another part of his speech before thousands of worshippers, the member of the IUMS criticized the role of some security personnel on check posts and homes of people over checking identity papers. He said, “We have received some reports that some security personnel in uniform or disguised officers stop helpless people and even women for identity cards. Sometimes, they confiscate identity papers of original Iranian citizens without any reasonable proof. This case proves that some people who are unhappy with the new circumstances, they want to show their anger in this way. We ask the provincial officials and security organizations to control such elements who want to create problems for people.”

He called on the officials to conduct a just investigation on the problem of identity cards and papers in a correct manner without making problems for people as many of the Baluch citizens have been declared ‘suspicious citizens’ and deprived of their due rights.
