Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on the adoption of Islamic morals in all aspects of life, putting a ‘clean and faithful hearts’ the redeemer of mankind on the Judgment Day.

Sunnis’ Khateeb in Zahedan began his sermon of Feb. 28, 2014 by the noble Qur’anic verses: «يَوْمَ لَا يَنفَعُ مَالٌ وَلَا بَنُونَ*إِلَّا مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ» [شعراء: 88-89], (The Day when neither wealth will be of any use (to any one) nor sons, Except to him who will come to Allah with a sound heart.)

He said, “The above-recited verses are in response to the monotheistical words of the prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him and our prophet, and his Du’a and supplication. Ibrahim, peace be upon him, made Jihad by his tongue and action as he stated the right clearly and destroyed idols. He told his nation the truth in a society where all people including his own family members were opposing him; it is bravery.”

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid went on to say more, “The prophet Ibrahim made Du’a saying: ‘And make me among those who will inherit the Garden of Bliss, and forgive my father. Indeed he was one of those who went astray.’ But when he came to know that his father would die without faith, he apologized to Allah and was averse of his fathers’ deeds.”

“Allah Almighty defined the Resurrection Day ‘when neither wealth will be of any use (to any one) nor sons’. People carry out illegal acts, rook and avoid donating on the path of Allah only for the sake of their sons. Fathers destroy their hereafter life for the sake of sons who not be of any use on the Judgment Day,” the eminent A’lim underlined.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid termed ‘sound and clean heart’ the only remedy in the hereafter and said, “We should know wealth and power cannot help us on the Resurrection Day; rather a heart free of hypocrisy, arrogance, duplicity and the rest of sins can help us when it is full of faith and veracity.”

He advised the audience to take care of Islamic morals and added more, “As the last messenger of Allah enjoined: “Adopt attributes of Allah”, we should not be impatient, acid and crude. Meet people with smiling faces; good morals mean to be useful for people. In offices facilitate works of people and do not waste their time. If you have money, pay the loan you have got. Creditors should not be hard too.”

At the end of his speech, Khateeb of Sunnis expressed his regret as many of Muslims have gone away of Islamic teachings and morals while some non-Muslim nations exceeded Muslims in this regard. By Allah, if we adopt the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah, Allah’s mercy would cover us and all will respect us in the world.”
