The outstanding Sunni leader, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid Isma’eelzahi, urged on noticing the domestic crises as the new administration has succeeded to ink an agreement with the world powers on the nuclear issue.

During a public address before thousands of citizens in Chabahar on Sunday, 24th Nov. 2013, he underlined, “It is a very good news that finally the Islamic republic could reach to an agreement with the G5+1; but the ethnic and religious communities must not be neglected too.”

“I think the Iranian nation and government have no choice but to confront two main challenges outside the country as there is a domestic problem too; one of the foreign crises has been resolved partly in the Geneva negotiations. But the second abroad issue is the disputes have erupted in the Middle East in the shape of the sectarian clashes, particularly in Iraq and Syria. We hope the Iranian nation and rulers will play their positive role to control the restive sectarian disputes in the Middle East, God willing,” the member of the IUMS further said.

Alluding to the third challenge, he said, inside the country, different ethnic groups and religious communities have been waiting for their due rights and share in power; their problems should be resolved as the president has promised many times.  The only way to get national unity is participation of all political and ethnic sides in the management of the country; it strengthens the basis of the system and national sovereignty of Iran.

The most influential Sunni leader in Sistan-Baluchistan welcomed the appointment of a local Baluch official as general director of ‘Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone’. He said the government should work hard to prove its trust on the local residents more.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said, “The Iranian nation had proved they were pioneers in the field of politics by their surprising participation in the recent presidential poll; ‘We must be thankful to the people over solidarity and fraternity they showed in the tough time,’ he underlined.
