Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah in Zahedan, Shaikh Abdol-Hameed Ismaeelzahi, initiated his latest Friday sermon on March 16, 2012 by recitation of holy verses:
“فَمَا أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَيْءٍ فَمَتَاعُ الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا عِندَ اللَّهِ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَى لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ* وَالَّذِينَ يَجْتَنِبُونَ كَبَائِرَ الْإِثْمِ وَالْفَوَاحِشَ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُوا هُمْ يَغْفِرُونَ” [ [شوری: 36-37, (So, whatever thing has been given to you is an enjoyment of the worldly life. And that which is with Allah is much better, and much more durable for those who believe and place their trust in Allah, and (for) those who abstain from the major sins and from shameful acts; and (for those who) when they get angry, they forgive,) Shaikh urged that ‘good ethics’ are the corner stone in success of the vanguard Muslims.

He explained the point saying that now-a-days Muslims are away of their moral principles, they are weak in deeds and beliefs. If you study the lives of Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace & blessings be upon him, the Guided Caliphates and other companions, may Allah be pleased with them, you will observe a huge difference between their lives, firmness and sincerity and today’s Muslims’ lives.
Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah went on to say, ‘Reliance (Tawakkol) is one of the good qualities of the believers as Holy Qur’an states. A true Muslim trusts on Allah Almighty more than other visible tools. We should be sure that Allah is superior and His power is immortal and inevitable. No one can challenge Allah’s power; He listens to His servants and creatures accepting their requests in a time.’
Pointing out towards “Ahzab battle” in the beginning years of Islam, rector of Darululoom Zahedan added more saying that in the Ahzab battle the Companions grappled with lots of difficulties; finally Exalted Allah wiped out the infidels and rewarded Muslims conquest of Rome, Persia and Yemen. The hypocrites derided the believers, Allah Almighty responded their scoff: «قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاء وَتَنزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَاء وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاء وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاء بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ إِنَّكَ عَلَىَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ» [آل عمران: 26] (Say: O Allah, O Lord of the Kingdom, You give kingdom to whom You will, and take kingdom away from whom You will; and You bestow honor on whom You will, and bring disgrace to whom You will. In your hand lies the betterment (of everyone). You are surely powerful over everything.)
He further said, ‘Honour and dishonor are in the hand of Allah; who could imagine downfall of tyrants across the Middle East? These dictators occupied the seats of power by military coup or by demonstrative elections. Not only analysts but also the tyrants themselves could not imagine their instant downfall. This is the power of the Almighty.’
Shaikh Ismaeelzahi pointed that the history is the best witness; good morals prevail bad ones, goodness defeats corruption. Nour (light) beats darkness and the only remedy is a strong faith and piety. In any situation, Muslims should trust on Allah.

Killing children, women is cowardice
Talking to tens of thousands worshipers, Shaikh Ismaeelzahi declared killers of women and children coward and chickenhearted rulers who massacre innocent people across the world.
He underlined saying, ‘Pogromist elements will face Exalted Allah’s punishment certainly. They have retrograded morally as they are away from faith and humanity. Islam forbids targeting women, children and old-agers even during wars and jihad.’
Indicating towards the recent massacre incident took place in Afghanistan by a U.S invaders, prominent Islamic scholar pointed that U.S-led forces are afraid of Islam, Holy Qur’an and Muslims; so they defile the Qur’an by incinerating it. Besides, occupying forces shoot Muslims due to their fear from them and their religion.
He pointed out to a sinister phenomenon that is prevalent in the society saying that kidnapping people for loans or ransom is contrary to morality. Demanding loan is not bad, but kidnapping people even children and old-agers for money is very awkward. Such kidnappers are far from morals. It is a big sin and such culprits should repent and return to Allah.
