Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed, Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah in Zahedan started his latest Friday speech by recitation of holy verse: “قل إن صلاتی و نسکی و محیای و مماتی لله رب العالمین لاشریک له و بذلک أمرت و أنا أول المسلمین,” {Say: “Verily, my Salah, my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of all that exists.”) (163. “He has no partner. And of this I have been commanded, and I am the first of the Muslims.} Emphasizing that Islam is the religion of Tawheed, oneness, and worshipping Allah.
He pointed that Islam is an Abrahamic religion that has been chosen by Allah Exalted, other religions are outlawed and abrogate. Islam is the only path which leads to the paradise.
Explaining the recited verse, Shaikh Abdul Hameed said, ”Allah Almighty mentioned those who made divisions in their religions and turned into factions due to worldly purposes and self passions. Allah says: O Muhammad! Verily, you are not one of them who divided their faith and created sects. Rather, Allah has guided you to the right path and religion, Islam.”
Talking to thousands of worshippers in the Grand Makki mosque, Mawlana Abdul Hameed added more saying that no doubt Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism and such other religions and philosophies are away from the right path. The right way is the way of Prophet Muhammad, peace & blessings be upon him. Because, his religion is the true Abrahamic religion not other religions who claim so. Allah says: ما کان إبراهیم یهودیا و لانصرانیا، و لکن کان حنیفا مسلما””, [Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian. But he was upright, a Muslim, and was not one of those who associate partners with Allah.].
The eminent Sunni scholar of Iran further urged that followers of Muhammad, peace & blessings be upon him, are nearer to Prophet Ibrahim than others. Muslims are the actual and real Abrahamic. Allah Exalted says: «إِنَّ أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِإِبْرَاهِيمَ لَلَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ وَهَذَا النَّبِيُّ وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ وَاللّهُ وَلِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ», [The closest of people to Ibrahim are those who followed him, and this prophet, and those who believe; and Allah is the Guardian of all believers.]
He added more saying that Islam is the religion of Tawheed, Islamic monotheism, as Allah says to our beloved prophet, tell the world that your all kinds of worships, life and death are for Allah. So Islam is not the religion of superstitions, deviances and false beliefs. Rather it is a clean and upright path. Islam is a complete religion and Allah does not accept any other religion from people but Islam.
Shaikh Ismaeelzahi declared “Islam” the cause of prosperity and honor in both worlds for Muslims and called them to practice it steadfastly. The compendium of Islam is Tawheed and sincerity. A Muslim should always think about spirituality and be away of worldly means. Because, material tools have been created for the ease of people and people are created for Allah’s worship. This was the life of beloved prophet and his companions.
At the end, Mawlana Abdul Hameed condemned the assassination of an Iranian scientist, Mustafa Ahmadi Roshan, in Tehran underlining that terror and violence create more instability and violence. Scientists do not belong to any particular sect or group; they are the need of whole nation.
Assassination of scientists; an open crime
At the end of his sermon, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdul Hameed decried the assassination of an Iranian nuclear scientist, Mustafa Ahmadi Roshan, in Tehran underlining that it is an open crime; terror and violence create more instability and violence.
“Scientists do not belong to any particular sect or group; they are the need of whole nation. His assassination made everyone sad; it was shocking news for the entire nation,” Khateeb of Ahl-us-Sunnah in Zahedan, Iran, added more.
Shaikh Ismaeelzahi pointed saying that Allah knows better who assassinated Mr. Ahmadi Roshan, but probably Zionists are behind such crimes and incidents.
