Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan called on Muslims to get ready for the Judgment Day by good deeds terming it a “monumental” and “terrible” day.

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid encouraged Muslims to pay Zakah and spend money on the path of Allah, terming it a good act that purifies self and cleans wealth.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on the necessity of the self-purification and human spirit in the Friday sermon of May 30, 2014 in Zahedan, southeastern Iran.

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid urged on worshipping Allah and imitation of Islamic Shari’ah in all aspects counting ‘avoidance from sins’ the first grade of faith and highest worship.

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid pointed out to some features of the Islamic commands and termed the directions of the Noble Qur’an and Sunnah on the path of temperance and reformation of human society.

Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid indicated to the great status of Tawhid, monotheism, in Islam and its impact on beliefs and human deeds, calling ‘correct tenets and faith’ the greatest blessing of the Almighty.

Shaikh Abdol-Hamid expressed his deep concerns over the spread of lie, accusation and incrimination in the society and said, “Islam forbids telling lie and accusation in strong words.”

Pointing out to some virtues of the first caliph, Abu-Bakr as-Seddiq, may Allah be pleased with him, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called him and all companions of the prophet ‘the best after messengers’ as Muslim owe them indeed.
