Mawlana Abdol-Hamid urged among the teachers of Darululoom Zahedan that the path of Sunni seminaries and Islamic schools was ‘sobriety’ and ‘proximity’ among Islamic sects.

Talking to the teachers of Darululoom Zahedan, Iran in the weekly meeting of teachers on Tuesday, 9th August, 2016, Mawlana Abdol-Hamid stated: “We believe all Muslim sects, tendencies and communities must unite with each other. Shia and Sunni Muslims have many commonalities. We should grasp to theses commonalities and release the differences of every sect to themselves”.

He more expressed: “All Sunni seminaries oppose violence and extremism. They unanimously will not allow anyone in Sunni seminaries to carry out anti-regime actions or to destabilize Muslims’ unity.”

Chairman of the Coordination Council of Sunni Seminaries in Sistan-Baluchistan addressed students and teachers of Islamic schools and said: “Teachers and students must be careful; they should avoid severely from presenting any issue which creates pessimism in society. The official magazines and experimental journals which are being published inside the seminary must be advised to avoid inserting divisive subjects, too”.

At the end, he underlined, “The enemies of Islam and country should not find any chance to misuse it against Muslims”.

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan also encouraged scholars and teachers to “adhere to the Sunnah”, “recite the Quran”, “offer night prayer (Tahajjud)”, “relate with society” and “try for reforming themselves and people”.
