Shaikh Abdol-Hamid urged on piety and continence, terming sins one of the main elements of societies’ anxiety in the sermon on 6th March 2015.

The Friday Imam of Sunnis began his sermon by the Noble Qur’anic verse: «یا ایها الذین امنوا تقوا الله حق تقاته و لاتموتن الا و انتم مسلمون», (Believers! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and see that you do not die save in the state of submission to Allah.) and said, “Continence is very important and vital. The Noble Qur’an and Sunnah have clarified our prosperity is in piety and continence. Piety means to avoid sins, misdeeds and to take care of Allah’s rights and His servants rights.”

“The hell of this world and the Hereafter life of everyone is in misdeeds. These are misdeeds and sins which change the life of people in the both worlds into the fire, while piety changes the life into a paradise. A clean, comfortable and neat life is the fruit of piety and purification.”

He added more, “Pious people have a peaceful and comfortable life, but criminals and sinners destroy their lives in the both worlds. By misdeeds and violation of others’ rights the doors of anxiety, stress and worry will be opened.”

“If you want to be successful and save your children and society, then we must leave sins; otherwise how can we order them to avoid disobedience of the Almighty? As well as, we must avoid the tools and ways lead onto sins and disobedience. Therefore, bowing down before others for the sake of respect is forbidden in Islam,” the rector of Darululoom Zahedan further said.

He termed ‘avoiding from various kinds of sins’ one of the manifest characters of pious people saying more, “Pious people avoid from all kinds of misdeeds. A pious man avoids gold, silk garments, watching naked women on TV and satellite channels. Unfortunately, some media sources of Muslims show half-naked women; while if getting services of women in TV channels is necessary, at least their heads should be covered.”

Focusing on marriage of youth maintains society healthy
Mawlana Abdol-Hamid went on saying, “Marriage of mature sons and daughters must not be delayed as much. There are many reasons and sources in the society which are enough to provoke youth towards sins and bad acts.”

“By giving attention to marriage, we can save our society from misdeeds. When the beloved prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, entered Madinah, he enjoined Muslims to get married if they can afford, otherwise observing fast the other option. Fasting controls mankind and creates balance in their desires,” Friday Imam of Sunnis added more.

The rector of Darululoom Zahedan concluded his points by saying, “Marriage parties should be simple with low expenses in order to pave the way for poor youth. In some areas, many marriage parties merge in one ceremony; it is a very good tradition. Marriages should not be burden by big parties and heavy dowry.”

Israel wants only war & repression
In the second part of his sermon, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid alluded to the recent speech of Israeli PM in the US congress and said, “The Prime Minister of the sinister Israeli regime has opposed dialogue in the US congress, it amazed the entire world. It is a proof that the stance of Israeli regime is based on war, massacre and repression.”

“The diabolic regime of Israel does not believe in logic, dialogue, reconciliation and mutual understanding. If the Israeli politicians and statesmen were men of dialogue, the Palestine issue had been resolved. But blood of Palestinians and others falls from their nails and teeth.”

He emphasized, “The occupying regime of Israel violates human rights globally, as the international human rights organizations denounce this regime because of Palestinians’ massacre and destruction of their houses. Even they cannot speak out about their problems.”

At the end of his speech, the outstanding Iranian Sunni leader pointed out to nuclear talks of Iran with the world powers and said, “We hope the nuclear talks would end up with win-win result as all get their rights. We hope not only the Iranian nation but other nations would benefit from the ongoing negotiations too.”
