Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdol-Hamid, Friday Imam of the Sunni community in Zahedan, Iran, has expressed his regret over the death of Haaj Akhund Ashour Dardi Sayyedi, one of the prominent scholars in Golestan province.
He mourned the departure of Haaj Akhund Ashour by issuing a condolence message.
The text of the message is as follows:
The death of Haj Akhund Ashour Dardi Sayyedi, founder of Ahmadiah seminary in “Malai Shaikh Ging Lik” village, Kalala, Golestan province, made me regretful.
Undoubtedly, his death is considered a big shock for scholars, Iranian Sunni community and especially the pious people of Golestan.
I express my condolence to the beloved people of Turkamen-Sahra, his students and to his honorable family. As I wish mercy and forgiveness for the late deceased, I ask the almighty to grant his survivors numerous rewords and patience.
