Shaikh Abdol-Hamid, the outstanding Iranian Sunni scholar, urged on Sep. 19, 2014 in Zahedan, Iran, that ‘national and unbiased sight’ of the officials which can ensure durable peace and unity for the country.

Khateeb of Sunnis said, “Enjoying a national view is vital and so important, particularly for statesmen and officials. Politicians of any country can be successful if they have impartial views and mindsets. The sight of Allah Almighty is like the view of caretaker of a family to his children and other dependents. Dependents may have different styles and tastes, but the caretaker behaves with all of them impartially. So the statesmen should act upon the great Hadith: «تخلّقوا بأخلاق الله», (Mould yourself according to the ways of Allah.)”

“Impartial view to all members of any nation strengthens regimes and states. Islamic Republic of Iran has been existed by the votes of people; so officials who have been elected by people must avoid partial mindsets,” he added more.

Mawlana Abdol-Hamid pointed out to the presence of the governor of Sistan-Baluchistan Ali Awsat Hashemi and managing director of non-interest Resalat Bank in the Friday gathering of Sunnis in Zahedan and said, “First of all I welcome to our guests, the governor of Sistan-Baluchistan and managing director of non-interest Resalat Bank. Mr. Hashemi is one of the capable and popular officials and politicians of the country; he really has an unbiased mindset. It is an appreciable point. We are happy to have a discreet governor. Our province shares border with two countries where situation is critical and some insecurity incidents jeopardy the peace of this province. Here different ethnic and religious communities have been living together for centuries peacefully, but some opportunists of the both sides want to provoke people for their personal interests.”

The governor should follow up the cases of employment & identity papers personally
The rector of Darululoom Zahedan addressed the governor of Sistan-Baluchistan presenting some public demands and said, “We want the respectable governor to manage and follow up the case of Iranian citizens who have no identity cards. There are some citizens who belong to this country living generation after generations for centuries; even their forefathers fought with British troops in the past century. Due to some reasons they did not get identity cards in the previous regime. So the governor is requested to resolve their problem and put an end to citizens whose cards and papers have been confiscated; valid papers of many people have been put in the list of ‘suspicious citizens’ and ‘services banned’.”

Alluding to the second demand of people in Sistan-Baluchistan from the governor, he stated, “There have been some problems and obstacles in employment of religious and ethnic groups; the governor is requested to manage this case too directly. We hope jobs would be distributed among different communities indiscriminately.”

The governor of Sistan-Baluchistan also talked to the participants of Friday prayers in Zahedan. He promised to execute the gas pipeline for Zahedan and the rest of province within three years; a project that may provide jobs up to 30,000 jobless citizens as Mr. Hashemi said.

Banks should consider Islamic commands and rulings
In another part of his speech, Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan shared his viewpoints on non-interest banking and said, “People in Sistan-Baluchistan are obligated with religious restriction and rulings; thus they could not benefit from services and facilities of banks completely. Juridical limitations hold people back as they do not want to commit sins for money.”

Shaikh further said, “Al-Hamdulillah we have observed some changes recently as banks strive to take care of Islamic rulings in their deals and services. The country in which we live and the system that rules on people are ‘Islamic’; therefore the directors of banks should work hard to provide interest-free services. It is good Resalat Bank succeeded to be pioneer in this regard as it provides non-interest loans.”

He concluded his points by saying investment in industrial and traditional products can provide thousands of unemployed citizens of Sistan-Baluchistan; all should pay special attention to this issue.
