Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdolhamid, during a seven-day journey from Wednesday (November 12th , 2025) to Wednesday (November 19th, 2025), met with various groups of people across the southern counties of Sistan and Baluchistan and delivered speeches among them.
According to the official website of the Sunni Friday Imam of Zahedan, Mawlana Abdolhamid attended graduation ceremonies and public gatherings in religious seminaries and held meetings with scholars, educators, community elders, and other groups of people in Iranshahr, Konarak, Chabahar, Dashtiari, Rask, and Sarbaz.


Meeting with the People of Bazpiran – Iranshahr
On Wednesday (November 12th), Mawlana Abdolhamid began his journey by visiting the people of Bazpiran, a district of Iranshahr. He emphasized the vital role of faith and religion in protecting individuals from sin and the harms of life. He stated that faith shields a person from dangers and failures and that religion must remain alive in homes, villages, and cities.
He also stressed the importance of earning lawful sustenance and avoiding damage to public-benefit projects, especially road construction. He reminded the audience that building roads and infrastructure improves public welfare, reduces accidents, and makes people’s lives easier.


Meeting with the People of Bandar Tang – Konarak
On Thursday (November 13th), the director of Darululoom Zahedan addressed the people of Bandar Tang, a district of Konarak. He highlighted the importance of piety and righteousness, stating that the path of piety brings mercy, blessings, and prosperity to the region. He encouraged the people to embrace this path so their lives may be filled with goodness and blessings.


Participation in the Graduation Ceremony of Haidar Karrar Religious School – Sargan
On Thursday evening (November 13th), Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdolhamid attended the seventh ceremony honoring Quran memorizers and graduates of Haidar Karrar Islamic Seminary in Sargan. He stressed that all segments of society—from political leaders to ordinary citizens—must reconsider their behaviors and policies and choose the right path through repentance and returning to God.
He emphasized the importance of modesty and the constructive role of women in reforming society, stating that virtuous girls and modest women are a source of honor for families and communities. He warned that the loss of modesty and ethics threatens the faith of society and that running away from home and moral corruption bring shame upon families and communities.
Additionally, the Friday Imam of Zahedan highlighted the necessity of sending children to acquire knowledge and improving the quality of education. He reminded attendees that conscious and responsible learning is the right of every nation and forms the foundation for social reform and the upbringing of the next generation.


Address at Chabahar Friday Prayer Ceremony
Continuing his journey, Mawlana Abdolhamid addressed the Friday prayer congregation in Chabahar on Friday (November 14th , 2025). He discussed the challenges facing the people of southern Sistan and Baluchistan, pointing to livelihood, employment, and healthcare services as the most urgent priorities of the region.
He noted that the people of Chabahar have lived for years beside major development projects—such as the Makran Coast project, the Free Zone, and industrial complexes—yet have not benefited from true development, underlining the state’s need to give special attention to this region.
Mawlana Abdolhamid stressed the importance of employing local workers in projects, providing skill training, and establishing vocational universities to meet manpower needs. He also addressed the issue of drinking water shortages and urged the government to complete hospitals and medical centers quickly so that people are not deprived of essential services and can enjoy a healthier and better-quality life.


Visit to the Tablighi Jamaat Center in Ramin – Chabahar
On Friday evening (November 14th), the Friday Imam of Zahedan visited the Tablighi Jamaat center in Ramin, Chabahar. He emphasized that inviting people toward God must be done with wisdom, compassion, and sincerity to have real impact and draw hearts toward faith.
Mawlana Abdolhamid noted that nurturing righteous and service-oriented individuals is one of the greatest achievements of this movement, and that the continuous presence of scholars and students plays a crucial role in strengthening it. He also emphasized the need for ongoing efforts with thoughtful planning, consultation, and exploring new pathways, describing this as a means of awakening society and guiding people back to the divine path.


Address at the Fatimat Az-Zahra Women’s Seminary of Zibashahr – Chabahar
On Saturday (November 15th), the director of Darululoom Zahedan addressed the women of the Fatimat Az-Zahra Seminary in Zibashahr/Chabahar. He reminded them that Quran recitation, interpretation, tajwīd, and understanding its teachings are the most essential tools for grasping Islamic principles and achieving inner reform.
Mawlana Abdolhamid emphasized the Quran’s role in spiritual purification and moral refinement, urging the sisters to make sincere and dedicated use of learning opportunities and to embody good character, kindness toward people, and the Prophet’s etiquette in their daily lives.
He stressed that acquiring religious and ethical knowledge not only leads to individual salvation but also forms the foundation for social reform and the upbringing of the next generation. He called on the students to continuously practice and convey the teachings of the Quran to society.


Participation in the Graduation Ceremony of the Imam A‘zam Women’s Seminary – Kocho
Continuing the schedule, on Saturday evening (November 15th), Mawlana Abdolhamid attended the second ceremony honoring female Quran memorizers and graduates of the Imam A‘zam Women’s Seminary in Kocho. He emphasized the central position of the Quran and the need for continual Quranic education.
He stated that the Quran must remain at the forefront of the curriculum in religious schools and that teachers should be sent to specialized training programs to improve the quality of education.
The director of Darululoom Zahedan noted that the diminishing presence of Quran recitation in the lives of scholars is a serious weakness. He emphasized the importance of knowledge, literacy, and good character for societal progress.
He also stressed the need to uphold human rights, maintain moderation in behavior, and avoid discrimination among ethnic groups, sects, and between men and women.
Among his other key points were concerns about political crises, economic hardships, drought, and poverty. He urged officials to prioritize addressing the needs of the people.


Meeting with Scholars and Students of Jāmi‘at al-Haramayn al-Sharifayn
On Sunday (November 16th), the director of Darululoom Zahedan met with scholars and students of Jāmi‘at al-Haramayn al-Sharifayn in Chabahar and emphasized the academic and cultural importance of this institution.
He stated that this center must convey the knowledge and practice associated with the Two Holy Sanctuaries (Haramayn) to the people and design its academic and cultural programs according to current conditions and societal needs.
He described Chabahar as a region of travel and tourism and stressed that both scholars and residents should contribute to the spiritual and material development of the city.


Attendance at the Graduation Ceremony of the Female Students of Darululoom Nobandian
On Sunday evening (November 16th), during his seven-day tour of southern Baluchistan, Mawlana Abdolhamid traveled to Nobandian in Dashtiari County. He attended a ceremony honoring female Quran memorizers and graduates of the women’s division of Darululoom Nobandian.
He addressed issues such as corruption, usury, bribery, and extortion, describing them as examples of “selling one’s religion for worldly gain.”
He warned that neglecting piety and religious commitment leads to social ruin and widespread problems.
The Friday Imam of Zahedan emphasized that worship, piety, remembrance of God, and efforts to improve people’s livelihoods are the most effective means of reforming society.
He also underscored the importance of education for children and creating job opportunities through agriculture, livestock, trade, and the proper use of border resources.


Participation in the Graduation Ceremony of Hazrat Ayesha Seminary – Dargas Region
On Monday (November 17th), Mawlana Abdolhamid met with graduates of the Hazrat Ayesha Girls’ School and emphasized avoiding sin and drawing closer to God.
He warned about the dangers of murder, kidnapping, theft, drug addiction, and alcohol consumption, describing them as signs of distancing oneself from God.
He said that repentance and returning to God are the remedies for drought and hardships, and highlighted that seeking forgiveness opens the doors of divine mercy.
Mawlana Abdolhamid also emphasized the importance of education for children, noting that the talents of the people of Baluchistan will flourish only through learning and the proper use of opportunities.
He stressed the significance of road safety and driver peace of mind and called for the dualization of the Chabahar–Sarbaz highway.
The Friday Imam of Zahedan described borderlands as an opportunity for the people and emphasized that the borders must be open and secure so that people can manage their livelihoods and trade while ensuring regional stability.


Speech at the Opening Ceremony of Darul-Quran Farouqiyyah of “Dompak” – Hotabad
At the opening ceremony of Darul-Quran Farouqiyyah of “Dompak” in Hotabad on Monday (November 17th), Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdolhamid described this center as an opportunity for nurturing the religious and moral character of the next generation.
He stated that attending a Darul-Quran should purify a person from moral vices such as arrogance, envy, and hatred, and should bring one closer to prayer, fasting, and noble character.
The Friday Imam of Zahedan emphasized the need for both outward and inward reform and called for accurate Quranic and jurisprudential education for all segments of society.
He reminded the audience that a Darul-Quran is not only a place for learning religious knowledge but also a center of goodness, blessing, and moral training, and that establishing such environments contributes to elevating religiosity and ethics within society.


Meeting with the People of “Baftan”
On Tuesday (November 18th), the Friday Imam of Zahedan met with the residents at the Haji Yousuf Mosque of “Baftan.”
He referred to the growing conflicts and disputes in society, stating that disagreements and hostilities destroy both religion and human life, and that those who fuel discord will face disgrace on the Day of Judgment.
He reminded the attendees that guiding people toward good deeds and inviting them to God is the responsibility of everyone, and that individuals must help protect society from sin and corruption so that sensitivity toward religious truths remains intact.
He stressed that sins distance a person from God and draw them closer to Satan, while the Prophet Muhammad demonstrated the correct path through good character, piety, and sincere invitation. Upholding moral principles and collective cooperation, he said, will guide society toward prosperity and progress.


Address to Women at Manar-ul-Uloom Seminary – Baftan
Continuing his schedule on Tuesday (November 18th), Mawlana Abdolhamid delivered a speech to the women at Manar-ul-Uloom Seminary in Baftan.
He stated that a person should give preference to others over oneself and act with altruism and kindness.
The Friday Imam of Zahedan referred to prayer as a safeguard that protects a person from immorality and wrongdoing, emphasizing that true beauty lies in faith, good character, knowledge, and devotion to God — in contrast to outward beauty, which is temporary.
He encouraged the women to learn the Quran and Hadith and to teach them to others.
He added that knowledge, good morals, and noble conduct adorn a person in both this world and the hereafter and lead to true happiness, success, and the creation of an ethical and thriving society.


Speech at the Grand Qasemi Mosque of Rask
On Tuesday morning (November 18th), the Friday Imam of Zahedan addressed the people gathered at the Grand Qasemi Mosque of Rask.
He emphasized the role of intellect, reflection, and divine revelation in knowing God, saying: “The blindness of the heart is the greatest deprivation of a human being, causing one to fail to learn from the destruction of previous nations.”
He added that some experts and educated individuals, despite their precise analyses, fail to recognize God and the Quran due to the ailments of the heart.
Mawlana Abdolhamid described a “living heart” and the presence of divine love as the foundation of faith, noting that the greatest advice prophets gave their children was to uphold religion and submit to God — a religion that surpasses all material blessings and saves a person from calamities and divine punishment.
He stated that practicing religion is the source of tranquility and stressed the importance of prayer, zakat, good character, maintaining family ties, and avoiding lying, betrayal, and corruption.
He also expressed gratitude for the efforts of Mawlana Naqshbandi, Qari Abdullah, and their colleagues for establishing a model Quran memorization program and continuing to serve the people even during Mawlana Naqshbandi’s period of illness.
At the conclusion, the Friday Imam of Zahedan reiterated that a worthy scholar, elder, or official is one who cares for the people and serves them, whereas a person who thinks only of themselves and their family contributes little to society.


Address to Scholars and Students of Anwar-ul-Haramayn Seminary – Pashamag, Rask
On Tuesday (November 18th), the director of Darululoom Zahedan addressed the scholars and students of Anwar-ul-Haramayn Seminary in Pashamag, Rask.
He emphasized the importance of training students who become scholars, teachers, and reformers capable of purifying and improving society and guiding their communities.
He added that the mission of scholars is universal, and like the prophets, they are responsible for guiding society.
He stressed that the buildings and institutions exist as tools for nurturing scholars and serving the Muslim community.
He urged the students to study diligently and strive for the betterment of both their worldly life and the hereafter.


Meeting with Scholars, Teachers, and Students of Aziziya Seminary – Anza
On Tuesday (November 18th), the Director of Darululoom Zahedan met with the scholars, teachers, and students of the Aziziya Seminary in Anza. He emphasized the need for aligning religious education and teaching with the requirements of the present era, reminding the audience that Islam possesses the capacity to address the emerging needs of contemporary society.
He stated that religious schools must train individuals who can serve as teachers, preachers, imams, mentors, callers to faith, and reformers—people who can embody both knowledge and ethics in practice.
Shaikh-ul-Islam stressed the importance of updating scholarly writings and utilizing international, national, and local languages, noting that students must stay aware of societal issues and benefit fully from their instructors.
He added that studying, teaching, and inviting people to God should be done sincerely and for the sake of divine pleasure, and that the ultimate goal of knowledge and education is to reform society and guide people toward goodness.


Attendance at the Peace and Reconciliation Gathering of the Hamali and Noorani Tribes – Kalat, Sarbaz
On Tuesday (November 18th), Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdolhamid attended a peace and reconciliation gathering between the Hamali and Noorani tribes in Kalat–Sarbaz. He stressed the importance of avoiding conflict and violence, explaining that war and confrontation inflict the greatest harm on knowledge, the economy, and public security, and are a source of suffering and disgrace.
He added that peace brings God’s pleasure and the happiness of the people, and that the presence of elders and officials at reconciliation meetings reflects solidarity and brotherhood.
The Friday prayer leader of Zahedan emphasized that disputes stem from human negligence and that Islam strongly forbids conflict and strife. Those who forgive and overlook are held in high esteem by God.
He further advised people not to involve government officials in tribal conflicts so that their energy may be devoted to the development of the region. He also urged families to counsel their children not to carry weapons, as they have no right to engage in fighting. Indeed, many conflicts originate from disobedience to God, violation of divine commands, and acts of injustice.


Conference of Scholars in Iranshahr – Haqqania Grand Mosque
On Wednesday (November 19th, 2025), Shaikh-ul-Islam participated in a gathering of scholars in Iranshahr, held at the Haqqania Grand Mosque. He highlighted the importance of such meetings, stating that scholarly gatherings bring goodness, blessings, and positive transformation to society.
He noted that the presence of sincere scholars and teachers paves the way for the reform and guidance of the people.
Shaikh-ul-Islam reminded attendees that scholars who act sincerely for God and care about their communities will witness positive outcomes wherever they serve.
He pointed to major social threats such as the promotion of adultery, drug abuse, alcohol consumption, and the rise in murder and kidnapping, stressing that in today’s circumstances, harshness leads to negative results, whereas wisdom and prudence are the effective approach.
He emphasized understanding the needs of the present era and maintaining communication with students and educators. He also advised scholars to respect the dignity of women, promote Islamic modesty and religious culture with wisdom, and transform religious schools into vibrant and active environments that bring goodness and blessings to society.


Conclusion of the Seven-Day Journey
After delivering his speech at the scholars’ gathering, Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdolhamid concluded his seven-day journey through southern Sistan and Baluchistan and departed Iranshahr for Zahedan. He returned to Zahedan on Wednesday evening (November 19th, 2025).
