Khateeb of Sunnis in Zahedan, Iran alluded to the National Police Week and termed \u2018implementation of regularity and security\u2019 the biggest responsibility of the police as \u2018public trust\u2019 is the biggest asset for them.<\/p>\n
Congratulating the police week to the personnel of police, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid said, \u201cThe main responsibility of police is implementation of regularity and security; it is one of the most sensitive duties in different departments of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Police directly implement security on the ground.\u201d<\/p>\n
Talking to tens of thousands worshippers in the main grand mosque of Sunnis in Zahedan city in the presence of the provincial police chief and his deputies, he said, \u201cPolice can be successful only when people\u2019s trust is with them. Public confidence is the biggest possible asset for the police. Public supports ease the implementation of duties for the police,\u201d the rector of Darululoom Zahedan underlined.<\/p>\n
He termed the \u2018raiment of piety\u2019 the best clothing and said, \u201cThe uniform of the police is a national clothing of serving people, but the best raiment is the raiment of piety as the Noble Qur\u2019an suggests. The raiment of Taqwa is the spiritual clothing for all of us. Everyone in any department he\/she is, should dress in the raiment of piety.\u201d<\/p>\n
Khateeb and Friday Imam of Sunnis made it clear, \u201cWe can be prosperous only when we dress in the raiment of piety avoiding from spoiling the rights of the Almighty and His servants. We all should avoid from misdeeds. The one who avoids from sins, he\/she receives the support of the Almighty.\u201d<\/p>\n
He concluded his points in this part by saying, \u201cAs we know, Gen. Rahimi (police chief in Sistan-Balochistan province of Iran) is one of the sober directors in the province. If anyone inside the police body commits mistake, Mr. Rahimi thinks court is the best place to decide about any culprit.\u201d<\/p>\n
Police should be a \u2018public force\u2019<\/strong> \u201cThe role of people, tribes and communities is obvious in the field of security. All can play an important role in this regard. They can recognize restive and sinister elements that create troubles for the peace and security. \nThe prominent Islamic scholar further said, \u201cThe Law Enforcement of Islamic Republic of Iran is not the yesterday\u2019s Iranian Gendarmerie which was under the service of a family. NAJA is working for people and our government is also public. If the police have any success in the province and country, it is just because of the supports of common people.\u201d<\/p>\n
