Shaikh Abdol-Hamid called on Muslims to take the advantages of the blest month of Ramadan in his sermon of June 10, 2016 and mentioned Ramadan a month full of mercies and blessings.<\/p>\n
In the first part of his sermon, Khateeb and Friday imam of Sunnis said, \u201cThe blest month of Ramadan is full of mercies and blessings; thirst, hunger, night prayers and listening to the recitation of the Noble Qur\u2019an are mercies in this month. For getting the divine mercies, there must be an endeavor. All efforts for the purification of the self are mercies in fact.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cAll divine rulings such as Salah, fasting, Zakah, recitation of the Qur\u2019an etc. are the root causes for an eternal life. Dishonoring the Almighty with disobedience is equal to death of any family and society. For being complete, human beings should submit before the orders of the Almighty,\u201d Shaikh Abdol-Hamid added more.<\/p>\n
The prominent Islamic scholar further said, \u201cAn unpurified person does not distinguish between Halal and Haram, the rights of Allah and His servants; such people only imitate their wishes.\u201d<\/p>\n
Shaikh Abdol-Hamid concluded his points, \u201cFasting in the blest month of Ramadan is a cure for spiritual and physical diseases. We should take the advantages of the blessings in Ramadan. Don\u2019t pass the whole day in sleeping and negligence. Avoid misdeeds during Ramadan.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sunnis should Establish Prayers without Any Fear<\/strong> Khateeb and Friday imam of Sunnis in Zahedan said, \u201cIt is astonishing to see some element cannot tolerate Salah (prayers) in some places inside a country where unity and fraternity rule. Salah is just a veneration and praise of Allah.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThere is no sensitivity about Salah\/namaz in any corner of the world. We will object if anyone create problems for a Shia or Sunni establisher of prayers in Muslim or non-Muslim countries. Unfortunately, in Iran where the ruling system and soil are honorable for us, we see in the blessing month of Ramadan that people face problems to offer prayers and security police ban worshipers to enter prayer-houses,\u201d he underlined.<\/p>\n The rector of Darululoom Zahedan asked, \u201cAren\u2019t we brothers? Aren\u2019t we Iranians? Why there is a difference between Zahedan and Tehran? All parts of Iran belong to every Iranian. We expect the authorities will ensure our freedoms and we will be free to offer prayers without any fear and hesitation. This is our legal right and the implementers of law must execute it.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe hope the elites of Islamic Republic of Iran, the supreme leader and president will stop those extremist and narrow-minded elements which put obstacles on our prayers. We guarantee that there is no any view among Sunnis of Iran but fraternity and unity.\u201d<\/p>\n Creating obstacles for prayers \u2018unbearable\u2019<\/strong> He further said, \u201cNamaz is not something to be forbidden. Once we met the minister of guidance and told him we are asked to get permission from you for establishing prayers. The minister laughed and said there was no regulation and law in the country that we should give permission for offering prayers, whoever wants to offer prayers in any place no one can stop him.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cTherefore, in this country and other parts of the world no one can ask people for getting permission to offer prayers. Prohibiting people from offering prayers is against Islam, law and unity. The implementers of the law should pay more attention to their Sunni brothers in metropolises. Their demands should be noted and their voice should be heard. We expect the higher officials will pursue our problems to resolve them,\u201d Shaikh Abdol-Hamid underlined.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t give opportunity to enemies<\/strong> \u201cThe conditions demand our vigilance to avoid from sectarian differences and extremism. We should stop extremists as much as we can; they should not have ground and free hands, he added more.\u201d<\/p>\n The rector of Darululoom Zahedan said, \u201cAll the praises be to Allah, we enjoy a good peace in Iran. The economic condition of other countries is better than Iran, but security is ruling in our country. This security and peace should be protected; some elements want to destroy this peace. Some people inside of the country have some movements to destabilize peace in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSunnis of Iran, including Ulama, educated class and the rest of influential figures have been striving to play their role in strengthening and protecting security and peace of the country. All the praises be to Allah, we have marginalized extremists among Sunnis of Iran; there is no any fanatic among us who can dare to loud his voice. They know well our people are vigilant,\u201d the eminent Iranian Sunni leader pointed.<\/p>\n He asked for \u2018providing legal rights of the Iranian Sunnis\u2019 and said, \u201cWe ask the leader of the Islamic Revolution who is a guide for the whole nation, as well as the government and other pertinent authorities to be cautious that some fanatic individuals may not succeed to deprive the Sunni community of Iran of their legal rights. \nExpressing his deep sorrow on creating obstacles for Sunni worshipers in Tehran, Shaikh Abdol-Hamid criticized the event strongly and urged Sunni must not have any fear regarding establishment of prayers.<\/p>\n
\nMawlana Abdol-Hamid warned, \u201cWe have many problems, but we show patience and avoid to express them just for the sake of unity and peace. But Salah is not a case on which we remain silent. Namaz is not something to be condoned. Closing prayer-houses and threating worshipers to not offer prayers are unbearable for us. The supreme leader once urged offer prayers even in parks.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIn a part of his sermon, the outstanding Iranian Sunni leader alluded to the ongoing critical situation of the Muslim world and said, \u201cThe condition in the Muslim world is massively critical. Neo-colonial powers, sinister Israel and other enemies want to make Muslims fight with each other to ensure their interests.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe rector of Darululoom Zahedan expressed his thanks on the statement of the Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, and said, \u201cI thank the supreme leader on his recent statement; he has said offense of any of the pure wives of the prophet PBUH is an act of offense to Rasoulullah himself.
