It was the habitude of jailers in the era of previous Shah\u2019s regime; as they shaved current Supreme Leader\u2019s beard in Birjand\u2019s jail.\u2019<br \/>Shaikh Ismaeelzahi further stated that having beard is <em>Sunnah Muakkadah<\/em>, emphasized Sunnah, near to obligatory. Some Islamic scholars termed it <em>Wajib<\/em>, obligatory, to have beard. Despite it, how the personnel of Islamic Republic of Iran can shave Muslims\u2019 beard in jails by force? While Ayatollah Khamenehi, Shia and Sunni scholars have beard, cutting off prisoners\u2019 beard seems very marvelous.<br \/>The eminent Islamic scholar asked Iranian officials particularly chief of judiciary, Mr. Larijani, to forbid this anti-Islamic act.
