Excerpts From Shaikh-ul-Islam Mawlana Abdolhamid\u2019s Speech at the Second Ceremony Honoring the Memorizers of the Holy Qur\u2019an and Graduates of the Imam Azam \u201cKocho\u201d Sisters\u2019 Religious School \u2013 Telang District, Qasr-e-Qand County \/ Saturday Evening, November 15th, 2025:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 The Qur\u2019an is the best of reminders. It contains guidance and counsel; those who act upon it earn a good reputation from Allah, and their good name will remain in the world.
\ud83d\udd39 Allah has provided the Qur\u2019an and the divine plan for all of humanity. When people fail to follow these instructions, they violate justice, stray from the path of humanity, and encounter dead ends.
\ud83d\udd39 When prayer is neglected, and zakat and alms are withheld, and people turn away from the Qur\u2019an and Allah\u2019s guidance, Allah makes their lives difficult and on the Day of Judgment will resurrect them blind.
\ud83d\udd39 Our advice to all schools is to place Qur\u2019anic education at the top of their priorities.
\ud83d\udd39 Correct recitation of the Qur\u2019an is the greatest blessing and the highest form of wealth.
\ud83d\udd39 Send Qur\u2019an teachers for training so they may learn how to teach effectively.
\ud83d\udd39 The Qur\u2019an is the Book of guidance; without it, guidance cannot come to society.
\ud83d\udd39 It is a serious deficiency for scholars if their recitation of the Qur\u2019an is limited.
\ud83d\udd39 It is the right of Allah that a healthy person prays at dawn, fasts in Ramadan, gives zakat, obeys Allah, and respects the rights of others.
\ud83d\udd39 Whoever recites \u201cHasbi Allah wa ni\u2018mal Wakeel,\u201d Allah will remove trials from them, just as He did for Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him), making the fire harmless for him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 Education is essential; our people must acquire literacy and knowledge. Through knowledge, they grow and progress and can develop their region and country while serving the people.
\ud83d\udd39 Praise be to schools that nurture well-guided and spiritually purified students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 Treat all human beings with respect and practice good morals. Give water to the thirsty, bread to the hungry, visit and assist the sick, provide tickets for stranded travelers\u2014these are people\u2019s rights.
\ud83d\udd39 The people of Chabahar can be influential; through good behavior, they can inspire change in others. The city\u2019s mission in relation to tourists is significant; their behavior should leave a positive impression.
\ud83d\udd39 Most visitors and travelers come to the province; be ready to show hospitality and treat them with kindness. The people of Iran have developed affection and respect for the province\u2019s inhabitants. Respect everyone.
\ud83d\udd39 We share human brotherhood with all people on Earth; all originate from Adam and Eve. Likewise, we have national brotherhood with all fellow citizens.
\ud83d\udd39 Human and civil rights must be respected; people should enjoy civic freedoms.
\ud83d\udd39 May Allah increase the number of those who recognize people\u2019s suffering, speak for their rights, and defend them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 Women should be given special respect, and their rights must be upheld. The Qur\u2019an and Prophetic teachings advise honoring all human beings, Muslim and non-Muslim alike.
\ud83d\udd39 Allow women to attend universities and religious schools and pursue their education. All Muslims have their own culture and dress; observe Islamic attire, which reflects the region\u2019s culture.
\ud83d\udd39 Progress does not mean importing Western dress into the region; true progress is adopting their science, arts, and advancements.
\ud83d\udd39 We do not support strict local restrictions. Avoid harsh treatment. Some ascetics and clerics are stricter than the Qur\u2019an and Prophet; rigidity causes harm. Maintain balance and reason, avoiding extremes.
\ud83d\udd39 Women\u2019s rights must be respected nationwide. They should study, gain expertise, achieve their positions, and not face discrimination. There should be no bias among ethnicities or sects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 Despite scientific, technological, industrial, and inventive progress, and despite increasing wealth, humanity today lacks peace; many are driven to suicide.
\ud83d\udd39 From an Islamic perspective, no one is allowed to harm themselves, amputate their body parts, commit suicide, or self-immolate; if in pain, one must exercise patience.
\ud83d\udd39 Many, feeling trapped in dead ends, consider suicide. It is tragic and painful when someone takes such measures.
\ud83d\udd39 Many people mistakenly believe that the sole purpose of life is eating, marrying, or having children; these are not life\u2019s ultimate goals.
\ud83d\udd39 Humanity faces challenges. Not only non-Muslims, but even Muslims are more frequently confronted with dead ends.
\ud83d\udd39 Muslims are facing absolute deadlocks in political arenas. Leaders of Islamic and Arab countries have been unable to take unified decisions or issue effective statements on Palestine because they are confronted with deadlocks.
\ud83d\udd39 The country faces multiple deadlocks: drought, fires, and earthquakes are challenges. Nature is acting against human interests; climatic balance in heat and cold has been disrupted. Floods occur, and there is grief, confusion, and frustration. The Qur\u2019an states that whoever turns away from God\u2019s remembrance, Allah makes life bitter for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 Earthquakes, tsunamis, water shortages, and calamities are consequences of disobedience to God.
\ud83d\udd39 Hunger and societal problems stem from injustice, unfairness, oppression, and the violation of people\u2019s rights. If people or officials act unjustly, everyone suffers, leading to crises and difficulties.
\ud83d\udd39 Currently, society faces terrorism, hostage-taking, bribery, and various forms of corruption. Corruption has become institutionalized, and no one can combat it without fundamental reform and strategic thinking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 The prophets were tasked with repentance. Prophet Musa (peace be upon him), before prophethood, struck someone, which unintentionally caused their death. He repented, saying, \u201cI wronged myself, I did not intend to kill; forgive me,\u201d and Allah forgave him.
\ud83d\udd39 Prophet Yunus (Jonah) repented and sought forgiveness while in the belly of the fish. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sought forgiveness and repented a hundred times daily. Repentance is the solution.
\ud83d\udd39 Parents, relatives, neighbors, and family have rights upon us; these rights are significant. We must repent for neglecting them.
\ud83d\udd39 Sometimes repentance is expressed through supplication, sometimes through prayer, and sometimes through praying for rain.
\ud83d\udd39 Repentance, seeking forgiveness, and giving charity bring mercy. Repentance is a form of victory.
\ud83d\udd39 Return sincerely to Allah, pray, supplicate, seek forgiveness, and Allah will forgive. If we have neglected people\u2019s rights, we must repent.
\ud83d\udd39 Allah commands mercy toward animals, plants, and all creatures. Plants strengthen human life and benefit humanity; do not destroy them.
\ud83d\udd39 Repent and resolve not to neglect duties or turn to sin again.
\ud83d\udd39 Allah will help and grant success when repentance is sincere.
\ud83d\udd39 The path to salvation is acting upon the Qur\u2019an and following the Prophet\u2019s example. Strengthen faith and follow God\u2019s commands.
\ud83d\udd39 Reassess your life and abandon shortcomings.
\ud83d\udd39 This gathering, for Allah\u2019s pleasure, is the best place for repentance and returning to Him. Resolve to repent from both known and unknown weaknesses and shortcomings.
\ud83d\udd39 Decide to perform prayers in congregation.
\ud83d\udd39 Train muezzins and imams; this is a great act of goodness and reward.
\ud83d\udd39 If we improve our conduct, ethics, and faith, Allah will solve our problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd39 The problems of the province and the situation of the people, especially in Baluchistan, are distressing: poverty, currency devaluation, inflation, unemployment, and high costs are worrisome.
\ud83d\udd39 We must convey the nation\u2019s and the people\u2019s hardships to officials. Provincial and national authorities should pay attention, and everyone must fulfill their responsibilities to serve the people.
\ud83d\udd39 One painful issue is the nationalization of lands. In that regime, injustices occurred, and people were not allowed to reclaim their lands.
\ud83d\udd39 One such area includes the Dashtiari lands. These lands were historically used for agriculture, and water storage supported multiple crop cycles. After nationalization, this unfair practice continued even after the Revolution.
\ud83d\udd39 For 400 years, these lands were inherited among ancestors and families. At that time, there were no formal deeds. Now, the lands have been nationalized without exceptions. Where should the people obtain deeds? Six thousand hectares of land have been declared national property.
\ud83d\udd39 At that time, religious rulings confirmed these lands belong to the people. Complaints have been filed. One day, all lands will be returned, and justice will prevail. Anyone selling land must obtain the consent of the rightful owner.
\ud83d\udd39 We call on the local provincial administration to address this issue and return these lands to the local people.
\ud83d\udd39 The water of this region belongs to these people. It is against Shariah to cut or divert it. Ancestors endured hardships and defended this land. Irrigation and agricultural rights belong to the people. Water should first be provided to them for drinking and farming; any surplus may be given to companies, but the people must receive their rightful share.
\ud83d\udd39 Introduce the best seeds into the region, teach the people the culture of work, planting, harvesting, and agriculture, and involve them as partners. Allah will be pleased.
\ud83d\udd39 Our request to the Governor and officials is that the \u201cKaldan\u2013Dompag\u201d road and the \u201cTelang\u2013Qasr-e-Qand\u201d road be completed; this will benefit the people.
\ud83d\udd39 Health is a crucial issue. People travel with difficulty and face many challenges to other provinces for treatment. A hospital with more than 500 beds should be constructed as soon as possible. Healthcare standards must be improved so that those who cannot go elsewhere can receive treatment locally.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
