A human being holds immense value before Allah. He created mountains, nature, forests, water, and land, placing them under the service of mankind. Allah created the heavens and the earth for the benefit of man and aligned them with his needs and objectives. But a human is only honored and valuable when he preserves his humanity and walks upon the path of fitrah.”

Inclination toward God-consciousness and good character is innate
Mawlana Abdolhamid said:
“Allah has placed noble morals, sound beliefs, and righteous conduct within the innate nature of man. The Qur’an came to remind humanity of this embedded fitrah. It came to awaken it and to teach man to preserve his humanity—for without humanity, he is of no benefit and others will not connect with him.
Within the human fitrah lies an inclination toward monotheism, God-consciousness, and truthfulness. The Qur’an and the Prophets came to declare that this potential exists within you. Even communists and atheists, when faced with dead ends in economics, find themselves returning to God.”

A person without forgiveness and God-awareness is not truly human
The Friday Imam of Zahedan further stated:
“Beautiful character is part of human nature and an essential human trait. A person must carry dignity—respecting himself and respecting others.
Forgiveness and pardon are embedded in fitrah. If a person is devoid of forgiveness and God-awareness, he has departed from humanity and is no longer truly human. Both the Qur’an and the example of the Messenger of Allah are aligned with the path of fitrah.”

On the Day of Judgment, no deed will outweigh good character
The director of Darululoom Zahedan said:
“Morality is of utmost importance. On the Day of Resurrection, no deed will weigh heavier on the scale of actions than good character. Mercy, maintaining kinship, generosity, and tolerance—all lie along the path of fitrah.
Preaching and advice should guide people to this path. The Qur’an and religion were revealed to direct mankind to the straight path, to awaken the lessons of fitrah that Allah placed within the human soul, and to teach him which deeds to perform and which qualities to revive within himself.
One of the innate qualities is modesty. All branches of faith—including modesty—are rooted in fitrah, upon which Allah created mankind. Though it may be buried under dust and ashes, whenever a person desires, it can be rekindled. Whoever preserves his fitrah is wise and welcomes wisdom.”

If humanity returns to the path of fitrah, the world becomes a paradise
The Friday preacher of Zahedan remarked:
“If today mankind returns to humanity and walks on the sound path of fitrah—the path of the Qur’an and the Sunnah—the world will become like Paradise. People will treat one another with kindness and compassion, striving for each other’s welfare.
We must return to the morals of the Qur’an and the Messenger of Allah. The Prophet’s character was the Qur’an itself, meaning he lived by its teachings and applied its rulings. The Qur’an’s rulings and the lessons of Hadith are our lost treasures.
It is crucial today for the Muslim community to come together, for Muslims are facing setbacks in the world and play no vital role among the actors on the global stage. Once, Muslims were the foremost leaders of the world, but today the world attaches little value to them.”

“Power” and “wealth” do not bring honor and victory; it is “humanity” and “returning to the Qur’an and Sunnah” that dignify mankind
Mawlana Abdolhamid stated:
“Some people think that if we possess nuclear weapons, atomic bombs, and stockpiles of missiles, we will gain power and honor. This is a mistaken view. True dignity is achieved when man returns to the Qur’an, the Sunnah, and to humanity. If we are with Allah, the whole world will be with us.
The former Soviet Union had four thousand nuclear warheads and was among the world’s greatest powers, yet it collapsed. This proves that neither power nor wealth guarantee honor. Pharaoh possessed vast resources, while Prophet Musa (peace be upon him) had only a staff—yet Musa triumphed over Pharaoh. Tyrants like Pharaoh and Abu Jahl wielded power and means, but because they strayed from the path of fitrah, they were met with failure.”

Embody the morals and conduct of the Companions and Ahl al-Bayt in life
The Friday Imam of Zahedan emphasized:
“Let us embody the character and conduct of the Companions and the family of the Prophet in our lives, so that Allah Almighty may remove our hardships and trials. Our expectation from everyone is to be devoted to Allah and His Messenger, to uphold prayer and zakat, to show compassion to one another, and to support the poor and needy in society.
Do not look at people’s language, ethnicity, or religion; instead, show your humanity. Be hospitable, respect all, speak kindly, meet people with a cheerful face, and refrain from harsh words. Morality, faith, religion, and upright conduct have been harmed. We must build human beings—and this is impossible without the Prophet’s Sunnah and the teachings of the Qur’an. If we cultivate true humanity, we will earn dignity in this world, and before the angels and Allah as well.
Today we face both divine displeasure and worldly crises. The nation complains that its voice is not heard. The only solution to these challenges is returning to Allah, the Sunnah of the Messenger, and upholding human rights. Killing, hostage-taking, and torture in prisons or outside prisons contradict the path of fitrah. We believe that neither people should kill one another nor the law should kill people. Executions, murder, tribal conflicts, and violent clashes must be stopped; all of these stand against humanity and the teachings of the Qur’an and the Prophet.”

“Fairness and justice” are the greatest strengths of governments
Mawlana Abdolhamid further stressed the importance of “fairness and justice,” saying:
“Allah created man inherently just. People must have fairness and justice. The greatest strength of a Muslim—and of governments—is fairness. We must even be just toward our enemies and not attribute to them more guilt than they deserve.
We must also be fair toward ourselves, but we must be careful not to let the commanding self (nafs al-ammārah) lead us into indulgence or unlawful acts. Fairness and justice are the paths of fitrah and the straight religion. Preachers and all people must ensure that their words and deeds are guided by fairness.”

The solid and beautiful mosque of Soran is both a “tourist attraction” and a “lasting legacy of the people”
Concluding his sermon, the Friday Imam of Zahedan expressed joy at the construction of the “grand and sturdy mosque” in the city of Soran:
“The solid, well-structured, and beautiful mosque built in Soran has become one of the city’s landmarks. The benefactor behind this mosque had lofty vision. He designed the mosque’s vast land, size, and strength in accordance with his high ambition. Otherwise, no scholar in this province—aware of the heavy expenses of such projects—would dare to undertake such a construction.
